you need to stop with this shiet. players perform however they perform. managers put players in the best position for them to perform. right now, astros just need to win 1 against mariners and that's up to the players.
just like how they were heartless against the rangers in game 6 & 7 of ALCS of last year with Johnnie Baker.
you didn't answer my question. if defense doesn't lead to offense, it doesn't excite the crowd. additionally, did you not watch this astros team from 2018 - 2023? homefield don't mean jack shiet to the astros.
So...just to be clear ...you noticed a higher decibel level at the start of the game than now. Hey, look I realize the offense spurs the crowd but this is a dead ass crowd....3-2 BTW. They were doodoo all last night as well.
Refresher course for the wildcard race (should the unthinkable happen): If we lose out, then 2 of 3 teams (Detroit, KC, Minnesota) would need to go 4-2 to eliminate us. If we win 1 in Cleveland, those 2 teams have to go 5-1. Detroit won today and is 1-0. KC is 0-0 in the 7th. Minnesota is losing 4-1 in the 6th. If KC and Minnesota lose tonight, our magic number with both those teams reduces to 2, equal to Seattle. A win in Cleveland would force both those teams to run the table to eliminate us.
