Harris's proposal to ban price gouging is not price control (we already do this at the local level). Trump propose to cap credit card interest rates at 10%, which is exactly price control.

I'm good with Credit Card Caps
I'm good with banning price gouging

I think the issue is that we are HOPEFULLY learning that unlimited cut throat capitalism is unsustainable.
Companies have to be controlled because they have any self control

A cap on profit or a higher tax on excess profit is a much safer approach than an arbitrary price cap. A price cap can have the unintended consequence of removing services or goods where they are needed. A 10% cap on credit card interest rates might seem to help those with credit card debt on paper, but it could drive credit card companies to stop offering credit to higher-risk consumers and backfire (if profits vanish given the risk—those in debt have a higher risk of default).

I’ll add that Bernie Sanders and AOC proposed a cap of 15% in CC interest rate in 2019 (not 10%), and it includes a safety valve that allows rates to rise above 15% for 1.5 years if the Federal Reserve determines that not doing so would threaten the safety and soundness of financial institutions. A simple 10% cap can risk not just what I mentioned above, but also, while chances are very small, the potential for financial failures that can cascade into a much bigger problem.

The biggest issue is women have been given increased/full freedom, but with little-to-no accountability. Whatever decision they make, whether good/bad or wrong/right, the government will back them up by giving assistance or just turning a blind eye.

Women also love being progressive and modern, but they generally still hold men to a traditional standard. Yeah, she's got a career and makes her own money, but when she goes on a date, we know who she expects to pay. Her money is her money, his money is "their" money. Women expect men to risk their safety to defend them, but she's not risking hers for him. Women, generally speaking, love old school patriarchal gender roles when they believe those roles benefits them -- and hate the roles that benefit men.

Nothing will change in mass until the government makes laws that enable true equality. The same equality that women claim to want, right? -- but they don't really understand what equality truly is because most women assume female privilege will always be a default setting.

The saddest part is that Trump, or any Republican, could solve 10 issues in America (except changing the current abortion laws), and a certain group of people would still vote for Kamala if the only thing she did was make it easier to kill babies.

"Can't no man tell me what to do with my body" --- and that's after she allowed a man to bust inside her body.

Just my $0.02 but sounds like he suffers from mother issues 101. Would assume he also came from a broken household and this is some type of self coping schtick.

Or, he could just be another Republican misogynist shitstain…

I know we're dealing with a clown show poster, but which "10 issues in America" were solved from 2017-2019 when Republicans had the trifecta and the courts?

Solving problems - or even appearing to TRY to solve problems - went out after teh Bush Administration in 2008.

Since that time, the conservative movement has done - absolutely nothing - to solve any problems, other than the problem of them not having power over people's lives, at any level. Look at Texas or Florida or any state run by these sociopaths.

If anything, they try to continue to break things even more. It's ****ing depraved.

There is a third option: edgelord who gets dopamine hits from "triggering" people.

I honestly believe this poster doesn't believe the stuff they type here. They are just here because they don't have an avenue to "control" other people's emotions in his real life and uses the Internet to express this desire of his to "manipulate" emotions

It must be. I think somebody has an unfair take on most women. Some of those claims could be true for some women but certainly not most women. I don't know a single woman getting government assistance, saying my money is my money, and some of that other BS. It sure as hell isn't true that most women don't have to work much harder in many occupations to get recognized, get CEO positions, or make even close to the same pay.

Even in jobs like the military where pay is equal for the same rank promotions are an entirely different ballpark. I worked for plenty of male air traffic controllers who certainly didn't get promoted because they were smarter or worked harder than the women at our base. Naval Air Station Kingsville, TX was the biggest "good ole boys club" of my 7 different duty stations, which honestly isn't surprising being in MAGA world.

.... says the person who's scared to admit whether they are male or female -- but asks plenty of personal questions about other people.

    Good job missing the point

"Harden could average 50 points for an entire series and the Rockets would still lose."

Samantha's response: "When did Harden average 50 points in a playoff series?"

    Good job
