That and he is the reason they get QB hits. Jaguars lose Campbell, their best CB, to the IR. And Maye will definitely be the starting qb by week 6. Everyone is dealing with some big injuries. Hope Mixon and Pierce recover for next week.
Sucks to lose Brevin especially when you could see him taking steps and getting better, hopefully he has speedy recovery. The one positive is Irv Smith and Brevin are darn near identical players, same measurables, same cone drill and shuttle numbers, same 40, same broad jump, so athleticism isn't in question, neither is a five star blocker but both have the ability to be dynamic pass catchers. Smith should be able to contribute to the receiving game immediately
He did a follow up tweet where he said he didn't find out until the next day. So he went to bed with a torn ACL and didn't know about it.
Well looks like the Bucs and Saints came down to earth. So we’re not alone in that. The Colts still look like a mediocre team with a TE playing quarterback. The Titans lost to Malik Willis. We’ll have to wait to see how the Jags respond. I think the Bills will annihilate them. the Division is ours to loose. Good thing we don’t face any Shanahan offense Defensive killers like Flores.
2-1 but not impressed at all on either side of the ball. And that's 3 games against teams that are supposed to be "easier" on the schedule. The Texans haven't played the toughest teams on their schedule yet and right now I would be concerned. Not panicking. Just concerned.
Something is just off with the offense. It almost feels like the timing and rhythm with CJ and his receivers are off. Last year it was a thing of beauty to see how fast he got the ball out and with such precision. It feels like he is hesitating a bit more this year and it just doesn’t look as fluid as last year.
texans, similar to the astros are in a weak division. if they can't win it, then i need to find a different hobby.
