Worst loss of the Stroud era. Penalties - unacceptable Offensive Line - unacceptable Offensive play calling - unacceptable If Demeco is the coach we think he is then this will be addressed and fixed. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful loss.
He looked like the good USC version of himself. Elusive in the pocket and making all kind of plays down the field. Did it to UT, and I think he played well against the Texans while with the Jets too. Could use less Sam Darnold on my life
Hate these answers. He needs to take accountability for his poor scheming, poor strategy, and poor coaching. This applies to Slowik too.
While he hasn't wowed like last year, if you watch any of the YT videos breaking his performances down from the first 2 weeks, he's not staring anyone down or waiting too long. It's honestly coming down to pass protection being subpar and the play calling being too grandiose. Slowik has been BAD these first 3 weeks, and his schemes have to start coming into question. He hasn't figured out a way to incorporate all these weapons in the passing game, and it's causing the offense to almost suffer from paralysis by analysis. There is zero reason for guys like Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz to be complete non-factors, and that's totally on Slowik.
Don't care about press conferences, as long as he says and does what needs to be said and done behind the scenes.
Right. I'm not mad about it anymore. It's the first loss and it's on the road. Let's be ready next week to dominate.
The bad: Every single position on this team was subpar today. We were outcoached and outplayed on both sides of the ball, made tons of stupid mistakes, and just got completely dominated today. It was humiliating. As for today's game, first of all, let me just say there is no excuse for Tunsil's stupidity. None! That high-priced offensive tackle having 5 penalties in the first half was like vomit in the mouth disgusting. Three false starts with a trio of illegal procedure fouls should not be happening from any veteran, and especially our highest paid offensive lineman. I wanted the best offensive lineman available in free agency and the draft. We have never had a great offensive line. Never! Half our team was injury riddled last year and this year they don't impress me either. They are making one stupid mistake after another, and getting shoved around too much for Stroud to look comfortable in the pocket. Also, I was so pissed when we let Greenard go. Last year he had 5 1/2 more sacks than anyone on our team. He was only 27 years old. Big mistake. Well, he had 3 sacks today and proved his value right in our faces. The good: We are winning our division. Luckily we are in the worst division in the NFL. CJ has more than enough talent to learn, grow, and work his magic again. We have an extremely talented core of wide receivers. We just need our coaches to design better plays, using our elite receivers more, and for our offensive line to get their **** together. We have a very good defensive team on paper. We just need DeMeco to coach them better.
