Israel is a democracy. They are fighting the Islamofascists. And they are infinitely smarter than the dumbasses who are on the wrong side of history and support the Islamofascists.
Agree that is the case in 2024 - not sure that will be the case in 5-10 years for a number of reasons.
Okay Nioh - and if Netanyahu leads you into a multi front war with hundreds of millions of Arabs - you better not ask or expect a single American soldier to get involved, or ask for and expect another handout or more weapons… and you better not complain about how you are so out numbered. Just so incredibly stupid - this is Afghanistan and Iraq all over again.. at least the USA knew they weren’t creating a mess in their own backyard, Israel cannot even say that.
Netanyahu is not the reason for the war. The Mullahs in Iran are. Quit pretending that October 7th did not happen. Quit ignoring that Iran's proxy armies have been shooting rockets at Israel nonstop, every day. Quit pretending that this is not what Iran and its proxy armies have been working towards the entire time. Some people are just mad that a tiny country is actually fighting back, trying to survive.
Israel and hezbollah have obviously been mortal enemies since the founding of Hezbollah. While Hezbollah has been carrying out small scale attacks the last few years they’ve restrained from a large scale attack. Israel escalated that with the pager attack and with the airstrikes the other day. I don’t know if Israel’s strategy was to deal a harsh enough blow to cripple Hezbollah but it’s appearing that Hezbollah can still strike back. This is going to spiral into a larger war with possibly another Israel ground invasion into Lebanon.
