I was talking to some people last night who were saying they hope the next assassin does a better job. I told them I don’t and still stand by that nothing good would come out of assasinating Trump. I believe if Trump was killed we would see a lot of retribution violence that would make J6 pale in comparison. I reminded them that the second worst terrorist attack US soil was the bombing of the Murrah Federal building. One of the reasons for that was revenge for Waco and Ruby Ridge. Trump killed would become a martyr for the extreme right and as we’ve seen with a lot of terrorist attacks and mass shootings it doesn’t take a lot of people to do a lot of damage and kill a lot of other people. Our system is based on the idea that change can take place through peaceful means and even though it can be very frustrating at times I still believe that is much better than through the barrel of a gun.
the mere fact you felt compelled to type this demonstrates how the idea of assassinating Trump has become completely normalized on the left.
You guys need to coordinate your twitter feeds better, or at least look back 5-10 posts before spamming the same tweets.
I don’t deny there are many on the Left who want to and I will speak out against calls for even desire for politcial violence like that. Whether it’s for assasinating politicians or trying to overturn an election.

what rhetoric are they using that trump and republicans arent using too? which democrat political leaders mock the spouses of republican politicians who are almost murdered? which democrat politicians call for their supporters to beat up protestors and they will pay their legal fees? which democrat politicians make fun of other politicians after their supporters get busted trying to organize a kidnapping plot against them? which democrat politician called for military tribunals against their political "enemies"? which democrat politican incited an insurrection against the government and initially said the insurrectionists would be punished for the fullest extent of the law then flip-flopped and said he would pardon them? which other billionaires besides elon musk joked on social media about assassinating the president and vice president?
You can't back up your claim. Got it. I looked up every single word ever said by all of those people since they were six years old and your claim doesn't hold up to the research.
