The Terrence Williams, Thomas Robinson affect. The Panthers need to take advantage while they can. When a guy gets picked high, another team thinks they can fix him and will trade assets for that opportunity. Josh Rosen I believe netted a 2nd rounder.

This effect does not exist with Bryce Young. It's disturbing how ESPN talking heads are trying to place 100% of the blame on the Panthers. There is a risk in blasting the performance of athletes who fail and there is zero risk in blaming teams for the failures (unless it's DW4 or a few others). The courageous thing would be to say "Bryce flat out stinks" but well-paid talking heads don't have that courage.

On the other hand, NFL teams aren't fooled by the rhetoric. They know Bryce isn't worth a dime and nobody will give up a legit asset for him. We saw what happened with Justin Fields.

I really don't think we should celebrate him struggling. We are lucky to have CJ but he seems to be a good kid.

I am so glad Stroud did not end up in Carolina...that is the most completely ****ing worthless Franchise since Tepper bought it

Good luck in Chicago for the other guy. That's where QBs go to die

Uh huh. Carolina is a ****ing disaster, and it starts and stops with the owner, who is low-rent Jones/Davis/whoever

Oh, there's more articles, all you have to do is look for them.

You need to settle down too, friend.

Does it matter wrt the Texans? Nope.

Glad he's not my QB, glad he's not my Owner, etc....

Ya cause a horrible owner means you can’t win? Give me a break. If stroud was on Carolina and bryce was on the texans, stroud would be awesome and bryce would be garbage.

Yes, it certainly means you can't win in Carolina.

Owner (who is Jerrah Jones wannabe) is the main problem. Read the article I already posted.

Stability, and having talent around you, is a good thing.

    Yay Texans!

Why you are so wound up about this? It's really weird.

This is a Bryce Young thread created for Texans fans to discuss Bryce Young things. If you don't like what someone posts, move on to the next one or stay out completely. Maybe the mods should move it to another forum.

Look in the mirror and take your own advice.

Oh I'm not. Read the literal first line in my post.

    Then read the 2nd one.

Of course it’s a good thing, but swap bryce and cj and the panthers are better than the Texans. Haven’t the cowboys won the most games in the league the last few years?

Pretty sure texans looked like trash when mills played last year, and before cj showed up i don’t recall everyone talking about how great our ownership was? Replace an awesome qb with an awful qb and we’re trash again. Put a great qb in carolina and they’re a playoff team easy. Just how the sport works

If you watch the All 22. Bryce is missing almost every throw. He’s broken. I think CJ in this years Panthers offense would be manageable.

There’s the other part of it too. CJ is the clear cut leader of the franchise. That guy takes complete ownership of his situation. The Texans beat the Bears and he sounds almost unhappy in the huddle due to it.

Everyone in the NFL is talented. Some guys raise the level of teams and CJ is certainly one of those players.

Oh I know, it's a total disaster, Young + everything

    Stroud is my QB

Leaf over Manning is the closest thing I've ever seen, and that didn't happen
