Yet you have blind faith that Sheppard is a quality Pg after 2 good summer league games and one where Nix wiped the floor with him. Your take on Jalen has founding. Your takes on Amen and Sheppard have very little basis since one we have not seen play an nba game and the other got very limited time on ball last year.

Amen played that role pretty well for a smaller guy last year. Jalen gets on the boards. I dont see how an opponent could afford to have a traditional big on the court going against this lineup.

Holiday, Sheppard, Sengun, and Tate instantly come to mind.... and those are just the guys who are outright better, there's more who simply wouldn't be as foolish with the ball despite not having much of a handle.

A zero is better than a negative.

I know you didn't watch him in college... but it's more than just summer league my guy.

Hopefully your guy finally becomes an NBA caliber player this year... if not, he won't be our problem anymore and MAYBE you guys can finally see past your delusions when it comes to the draft bust.

I got what I needed from your answer here. It was a check on how much brain rot you have with this matter and your answer tells me it's advanced level stage of brain rot

I asked the question assuming you'd throw almost half the roster on there and I wasn't disappointed lol.

Again, I get that you are delusional enough to think Green is a quality player, but that's just laughable.

Honest question, do you have a plan for what to do when your boy fails again and gets run out of town?

Will you follow your guy or will you pick another Rocket to blindly worship?

With time running out, you need to prepare.

Decided to do a little research and look into Jalen Greens season last year broken down into 3 sections. The first 27 games, the middle 27 games and the last 28 games.

    1st 27 games he averaged 17.1ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.1apg on 39.6fg%, 32.53pt%, 52.4ts%

    Middle 27 games he averaged 18.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 3.6apg on 42.5fg%, 29.23pt%, 53ts%

    Last 28 games he averaged 22.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.9apg on 44.1fg%, 36.83pt%, 56.4ts%

Like many have said he wasnt great for most of the year but what i do find interesting is it does show a steady albeit small improvements accross the board from 1st part to second part of the season. Obviously he made a much better go of it in that 3rd part of the year.

Literally accross the board it appears from a macro standpoint Jalen continuously improved as the season went on accross the board (sans the 3pt shot).

I would really like to see that last part of the year to be his norm and im optimistic it can be. Getting excited for the year to begin.

Some of these guys might need to be on suicide watch when Green's getting starter minutes and Reed, well, isn't.

Nah lies, he's the worst player in the league and has shown no improvement ever. He only cares about fashion and painting his nails.

Nix gave him trouble for a half of basketball (Nix is an NBA player) and Sheppard still outplayed him. It was a good test that Reed passed with flying colors...actually.

But largely still agree. Sheppard has yet to show anything but his foundation is as solid as any player we've drafted outside of Jabari Smith. The pre-season can't get here soon enough so we can all put our suspicions to the test.

I look at it as Jalen for the first time being coached in an organized setting. Jalen was trying to fit in at first instead of take control. The whole team was trying to figure out their role. Sengun stepped out for a bit and Jalen stepped up. Jalen's role as team leader became clear to him. Excited to see if he can build on last year.

I'll take this to mean you don't have a plan for when your guy fails again.... lying about ignoring me won't make up for a lack of preparation.

Won't bother with the rest of the list..... Tate is a better ball handler???? That cat is a black hole. Bobbythegeek is so mortally invested in a bad take on Jalen Green that he grasps at every straw he sees to salvage his reputation that he has of himself inside his empty head.

I just hope Bryce Young has this kind of blind worshippers, every draft bust should be so fortunate

Doesn’t he do this every year? At the start of the season every team (basically) is pretty healthy and trying to win. Once you get past the trade deadline a lot more teams are injured and/or tanking. The first 20 games are the best predictors of team/player quality because that’s where you face the best competition.

Scoring efficiency and average in the nba went down after the asb last season.

And March isn't the month teams stop caring. It's usually April.

i dont think the bold is anything close to being accurate. This seems made up in your head if anything.

for fun lets look at the 2023 season with regards to Jalen.

    1st 27 games he averaged 21.8, 4.1, 3.9 on 41.8, 32.3, 53.7

    2nd 27 (23 games played due to injury) games he averaged 21.4, 4.0, 3.4 on 40.2, 34.2, 52.7

    last 28 (26 games played due to injury) games he averaged 23.2, 3.1, 3.8 on 42.8, 34.9, 55

so NO, he doesnt do this "same thing" every year. Its a false narrative

I thought the research was that the first 20 games are the best predictors of team performance for winning a title? Did it change recently? Seems absurd
