Probably could’ve reset the market this offseason if we didn’t extend him. Love that he’s got no diva in him, dude is just a football player.
Yeah, completely wrong with this post. He's already a bargain. One of the best contracts in the NFL, right now?
Nico Collins is the best WR in the NFL and he is being paid like the 12th best. I'd rip up his old contract if he asked.
I still think Jefferson is the best WR, but Nico, to my clearly unbiased opinion, is top 5. I would take him over Ra, Lamb, Brown, and Adams...especially with that contract.
It’s crazy but literally ANY time stroud is scrambling it’s always Collins that he finds. The chemistry between them is INSANE.
As long as he is healthy and can stay on the field, he is a steal. But lest we forget, that was a problem in two of his first three years.and a minor one last season.
Watching the condensed version of the game, I noticed Nico was about to do a 9mm salute, looked around, caught himself and quickly changed it. Lol this was after the rifle gesture made by Thomas, which turned out to be huge.
Man the funny thing about that is after the refs penalized Brian Thomas Jr for his gun salute the next play Azeez Al Shair did the exact celebration and the ref didn’t call it.
In a league that’s been flooded by 6’ wide receivers with elite route running, it’s great to see Nico being a throwback physically dominant X receiver. He’s a throwback to Andre, Megatron, Randy style mismatch nightmare. His route running has gotten way better since he came into the league and is becoming incredibly well rounded receiver, there’s no reason he can’t be the best in the league.
12th highest paid wr (per year) Scary to think what he would have demanded if he had waited another year.
