We need a "former" KKK Grand Dragon white supremacist throw in his endorsement for Harris as icing on that yellow cake.

So you are a Trump fan now? What in my post do you disagree with? Did you even understand it? I criticized Trump.

I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for Dick Cheney. He shot a Republican lawyer in the face.

Well, he is unfit to serve for so many reasons. I can't remember a Presidential candidate ever to have so many high ranking officials speak out like this against someone from their party. To be honest, they all knew it and we still have plenty of members of the party keeping silent about this, and supporting this mad hatter.

It is almost a relief that he cannot run for another 4 years after this.

Guy is insufferable but that tells you that nobody is really the shining superstar that Obama was before he became President though.

    Tenure was a different story.

At this point I would even take Gore who would go all out on Climate Change and issues.

Inglis endorses Harris, calling Trump ‘a clear and present danger’ - Charleston City Paper
    September 17, 2024

Former six-term S.C. Republican Congressman Bob Inglis is adding his name to the growing list of Reagan- and Bush-era conservatives who say they plan to vote in November for Democratic presidential candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris.

Inglis is the state’s first prominent Republican to back Harris.

“Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to the republic,” Inglis told the Charleston City Paper in an exclusive Monday interview. “He’s disqualified based on character and rationality, so I’ll be voting for Kamala Harris.”

Never say never. That's why our vote is so important. Even if he ended up in prison while in office, if he wins the vote he will do his best to change everything possible with enough inserted yes men taking his orders. Look how the Supreme court has changed. They are breaking ethics laws left and right, and they basically have the golden ticket for life. Then there's Aileen Cannon, another story in itself. Imagine having people like Loomer as press secretary, Ken Paxton as AG, Musk,Tucker, and those like MTG, Gaetz, and Boebert in bigger positions. Imagine more Trump white collar criminals, conspiracy theorists, and White Nationalists as department heads.

It's scary how much worse it could get if Trump is given the keys to what he wants to get out of jail free with crypto his new family business, and plenty of evil and corrupt foreign leaders ready to start wheeling and dealing attention and money his way for political favors.

Thats one of the biggest issues I see from him, if he gets his maga congress I am not sure they would leave...............as far fetched as that sounds, who would have thought we would have J6 that is now looked upon by the maga gop as just freedom fighters walking around and now their hostages. NOTHING will shock me if he gets back in

    https://www.bangordailynews.com/202...party-we-endorse-kamala-harris-for-president/
We chaired the Maine Republican Party. We endorse Kamala Harris for president.

Robert A.G. Monks, Ken Cole and Ted O’Meara are former chairs of the Maine Republican Party.

As former chairs of the Maine Republican Party, we enthusiastically endorse Kamala Harris for president of the United States.

Never can we recall a candidate from either major political party whose sole mission seems to be to divide our nation, divide our communities and, often, divide families and friendships. Whether it is race, religion, gender, ethnicity or country of origin, Trump continues to pit us against each other in his frightening, cynical quest to get elected again.

In contrast, we have seen in Harris a collaborative and capable leader committed to bringing people together, and we believe her when she says that she is committed to being a president for all Americans, regardless of political party.

Each of us has had the honor of traveling the state of Maine to recruit and support candidates and to talk about the values that a big-tent Republican Party once stood for. Trump’s MAGA Republican Party is unrecognizable to us.

Much of the leadership of today’s Republican Party has joined the cult of Trump, and we know that they will care little for what we have to say. But we also know that the Republican Party in Maine is still home to many honest, hardworking, principled people who — more than any party label — want what is best for our state and nation. We hope that they will join us in supporting Harris for president.

Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, a Republican, put it best in his speech to the Democratic convention last month when he said: “Let me be clear to my Republican friends at home: If you vote for Kamala Harris in 2024 you’re not a Democrat, you’re a patriot.”

On Nov. 5, be a patriot.

We Were on Ambassador Nikki Haley’s Michigan Leadership Team. We Will Vote for Kamala Harris.

    https://michiganchronicle.com/we-we...adership-team-we-will-vote-for-kamala-harris/

As Republicans, we believe character and integrity matter. That’s why we proudly supported Ambassador Nikki Haley for president and were part of her Michigan Leadership Team. We believed in her positive vision for the future of the Republican Party, Michigan, and our nation.

Now, we will vote for Vice President Kamala Harris, and we are encouraging other sensible Republicans to join us.

There is too much at stake here in America and around the world to suffer through the distraction and division we all know will come with another Trump presidency.

Let us be clear. We disagree, sometimes strongly, with Vice President Harris on some of the ways we increase opportunity for everyone, but we believe she is a person of integrity. And right here, right now in this important election, character and integrity matter most of all.

We can’t say the same thing about former President Trump. Trump builds up himself by tearing down America and Americans. Just last week, during a speech that was supposed to be about battling antisemitism, the former president said the Jewish people would have “a lot to do with” the reason he might not win in November. During his televised debate with the vice president, Trump said Haitian immigrants living in Ohio were, “eating the dogs. They’re eating cats. They’re eating the pets of the people that live there.” America deserves better.

But it is more than just the strange things he says. Trump is no conservative.

On economic policy, Trump’s across-the-board tariff policies will result in a sales tax that will raise taxes on every American by $4,000.

In reigning in government spreading, Trump is no fiscal conservative either. Trump’s profligate spending as President increased the federal deficit to more than $8 trillion. And at every campaign stop, he promises yet a new government giveaway our nation simply can’t afford. In fact, many mainstream economists estimate Trump’s spending plan will raise the national debt by $5.8 trillion.

Harris’ economic plan would focus on supporting and strengthening independent small business owners, the backbone of our economy.

On foreign policy, as Ambassador Haley rightfully noted, Trump gets “weak in the knees” on Putin. We believe Trump is too sympathetic to dictators around the world, and Harris will focus on strengthening our alliances.

We cannot go back to the chaos of Donald Trump; we have seen what damage it caused the Republican Party and our nation. We believe it is time to turn the page. We will therefore vote for Kamala Harris.

Jimmy Greene serves as Founder and Board Chair, Jimmy Greene & Associates.

Bill Nowling is a Co-Chair of Republicans for Harris. He was the Former Communications Director for Rick Snyder for Michigan and the Former Communications Director for the Emergency Manager for the City of Detroit.

Former Republican AZ Senator Jeff Flake endorses Harris. This isn't much of a surprise except for how long it took him. He didn't vote for Trump in 2016 or 2020 and left the Senate in 2018 because he was then questioning the direction the Republican Party was going. What is more telling is that AZ in 2018 had two Republican Senators, a Republican Governor and was a reliably Red State. Now all those offices are held by Democrats and went blue in 2020 and is very close this election.

    Seems to be breaking through.

Yesterday NYT/Siena Poll: 9% of registered Republicans plan to vote for Harris (up from 5% in the previous NYT/Siena poll)

Kamala Harris' Support Among Republicans Almost Doubles: NYT-Siena Poll
    https://www.newsweek.com/kamala-har...blicans-almost-doubles-nyt-siena-poll-1965611

The proportion of self-identified Republicans who say they plan to vote for Kamala Harris in November has nearly doubled over the past month according to a major new survey from The New York Times/Siena College.

It found nine percent of likely voters who describe themselves as Republican plan to back the Democratic candidate in November, up from five percent in the last New York Times/Siena College poll a month earlier. By contrast just three percent of Democratic identifying voters said they will vote for Donald Trump, while 96 percent said they support Harris.
