Just because Trump acts like a toddler doesn't mean he should be handled with kid gloves. Trump is an existential threat to the America we all grew to know and love throughout our lifetime. He has already crossed so many lines in the sand because he cares about himself more than the country.
I believe it was from his social media feed. There’s really no reason to try to 'tie' him to any political party (he’s all over the place) or to make sense of his thinking or logic (he seems delusional). The guy comes off as a nutcase. He was involved in a 3-hour standoff with the police, which resulted in charges for possession of a weapon of mass destruction (a fully automatic gun). The International Legion of Ukraine mentioned he periodically contacted them with "nonsensical ideas that can best be described as delusional." This guy likely suffers from some form of mental illness, possibly even hearing voices or seeing things, given his obsessions. We could have just left it at that: a nutcase tried to assassinate Trump. Denounce it and move on. But here we are, with Trump directly blaming Biden, Harris, the Justice Department, the media… all of his perceived political opponents.
