Beautiful throw and catch. Glad we locked him up into a great contract compare to those other overpaid ones.
Exactly. I think that deal is going to be a true bargain by the time it is finished. I think he was the 11th highest paid WR when the deal was signed, and he'll be even lower now with other WRs getting extended. Edit: Just went and looked it up and he's 12th highest now.
I don't know the specific rules for lining up. I'm thinking about vague recollection about penalties like covering up the tight end and other procedure penalties. So here goes my assumptions. At the time of the snap, at least seven players should be on the line of scrimmage. If there is a tight end on the LOS, can the receiver on that side also be on the LOS. I would think so, but why a penalty? Can the linemen reset their position after getting into their stance or even before? Could you have only 5 players on the LOS until a couple of seconds before the snap and then have them reposition to the LOS? I'm really thinking about what would happen if Brevin sets up off the LOS and Tank starts a sweep but suddenly assumes a TE position and Brevin is sprinting toward the slot Tank just vacated which might leave 6 men on the LOS if Tank doesn't move up. But this leaves Brevin with a mismatch and Tank a couple of steps closer to a post route.
