Our 2 almost 3 year old went potty by herself. We'd pretty much given up on potty training months ago and yesterday out the blue she just told us she needed to go and went.

My 9 year old son has taken his game to another level. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Game one of the football season. 4 interceptions in an 8-6 loss. He should have had 5 picks but one Ref said he trapped the ball, he did not. Our QB was out and we couldn’t score.

Game two we came back from an 18-6 deficit at halftime to win 25-18.

My son had two pick 6’s and two TD catches. 4 more interceptions in all; one in their end zone and one to seal the game.

He plays both ways the entire game. He was running on fumes but really pushed himself. Proud papa to say the least.

My 14 year old son plays AAU basketball. He had a tournament today and went crazy with 25 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists in his 3rd game of the day. Super proud of his growth as a player.

Just seeing this. I believe Forte Village Resort in Sardinia (not cheap!) does offer something like this, with famous soccer players.

    Alright, some bragging:

My son could read at 3 years old - no idea why. We certainly didn't teach him.

There is something in Florida called "ERB testing", some kind of standardized tests. My daughter did this in 2nd grade, and was on the level of a 5th grader.

My son did some tests called "IXL" in Pre-K and was apparently on the level of a 2nd grader (math and english language arts).

We don't do that here in TX, not sure about yall in Florida.

We've done more than that, especially in elementary school.

I’m not sure when I made that post. But at this point he has played some in Spain and France. This summer though he went to a camp at Villanova in west Philadelphia and Santa Barbara University (which has a beautiful campus right next to the ocean)

He’s actually going with some teammates tomorrow to a St Edwards University men’s soccer game. Warmup on the field before the game and speak to the coach there etc should be cool.

After graduating from Baylor last December, our daughter got married to a great guy from Copenhagen.

My son has almost a 4.0 gpa at his college prep high school (Saint Thomas), got a great grade on the SAT and is working on finishing Eagle Scout. He's on the sports medicine team at school and wants to be a doctor. He's also on his fourth year in the school choir and he went to state choir the past two years.

A renaissance man, I like it. FYI my best friend is the band director at St. Thomas and has been for several decades.

One of my twins was the only 7th grader to make Honor Band on trombone. The other one made it on percussion but chose to stay back so he could get better parts. Sort of like a prospect staying in AAA in order to get more meaningful at bats.

They are both in advanced classes and making straight A's. No idea how this happened, since both of their parents were perennial C (and D) students their entire academic careers.

Congrats. I am not surprised, because you seem like a great poster.

Have you been out to Copenhagen yet? I lived there for two years. Great in summer.
