what a stupid POS. not surprised at all to see certain posters in here who are always propping him up. they like what he has to say.

@AroundTheWorld and @tinman are the only posters on this website that will routinely have entire pages of a thread just be their replies with no one else in that page. It's kinda unhinged.

    H was never a genius.

People like him and SBF have one major skill they picked up from being born and raised around people with money.... He knows how to convince people with money he's a genius. That's all. He was a average college student. An average coder. He just knew how to speak to VCs. People don't understand this but Elon's most advanced technical skill is coding skills and those coding skills are equivalent of a junior software developer on their first job out of college.

I wouldn’t say an idiot but it seems like a lot of the tech billionaires are kinda quirky.

A lot of tech billionaires are people raised in upper middle class or wealthy families where they had access to a network of people with money where they interacted with them at a young age where they learned how to talk to those type of people. Remember tech billionaires are good at one thing: convincing VCs to the them money. You don't do that by being a tech genius. You do that by knowing the magic words to use to impress some fear bro with daddy money.

The true geniuses of this planet have a common trait that makes them very bad at expanding wealth: severe amounts of intellectual curiosity that often can be debilitating to personal success in terms of wealth accumulation. Look at someone like Steve Wozniak, an actual genius has to be pushed into the right direction to turn his genius into something profitable by Steve Jobs, a dude who knew how to speak to wealthy people. Steve Jobs definitely above average intelligence, but not a genius.

Most geniuses are extreme hobbiwst or career academics working on research in a university research building. People like John B Goodenough. His brain was too intellectually curious to make his life's work center around maximizing return on investment. He just wanted to learn and discover new things.

Most of our tech billionaires are not geniuses. They are a combo of fortunate and charismatic to the right type of people.

A lot of soctitial problems will be solved if the masses learned that the CEO and tech founder class are not the actual geniuses on this planet. They lack the intellectual curiosity to be considered that.

Most true geniuses never end up being mega wealthy people because their curiosity meant their priorities never was "maximizing wealth".

Handing our nations space program over to Elon Musk is the definition of handing it over to the Russians.

I don't think anyone thinks we should be handing over our space program to the Russians. The space program should be centralized managerially with NASA, and have a number of vendor relationships with American companies in order for the American tax dollar to get spent much more effective, and not monopolized under one right wing pro-Putin billionaire's thumb.

My grandfather worked on the Apollo missions, and was in the room with the team that helped work out the math that got the Apollo 13 team able to swing back around the moon to get home. He also worked directly with the women depicted in the Hidden Figures movie. However he wasn't hired directly with NASA. Originally he started out of Ford as an engineer, and then one of Ford's sister companies who worked on the Univac computer which then became an essential part of being able to work out the math in real time to calculate the precision of the mission.

NASA is fully capable of managing the space program with help from the private industry, and not wholesale offloading the entire thing out to a POS billionaire with a political agenda, and someone who will spend billions of shares on a grievance just to entertain his ego. The NASA program belongs to people of The United States... not fcking Elon Musk, and his bullsh$t.

That wasn't the context of the post. The post contributors ignorantly suggested cancelling all government funding to the most advanced space program in the world because he is emotionally too fragile to see past his anger issues.

Nobody suggested to hand NASA over to SpaceX. SpaceX has no interest in being the C&C of the US space program. Its just incredibly stupid to suggest to end any government support for the Dragon program. He has the intelligence and EIQ of a toddler.

On the heels of the aparent 2nd assassination attempt on Trump, Elon's X post about

    received widespread backlash on the platform, with some using the hashtag “#DeportElonMusk” to call out the Tesla and SpaceX CEO;
Elon is an immigrant from Canada, before that South Africa

Elon then deled the stupid post

Lesson 2: I surround myself with sycophants that laugh at all my "jokes"
Lesson 3: I'm autistic and can't determine if they are sincere.
Lesson 4: Becuase of 1 - 4, It's impossible to determine if I'm actually posting jokes at all.

Not sure if that's a fair statement. There are only a few of them around, and most of them are pretty smart, try to act humble, and definitely aren't going to say anything like what he has said over the last two weeks.

Musk has a security clearance. If you threaten or say something that might be perceived as threatening the POTUS, your security clearance would be suspended or revoked, not to mention the legal trouble you might get yourself into. Politics have caused Musk to act extreme and very stupid.

All of these Tech billionaires have security clearances. None of them are humble. You don't become a billionaire by being humble.

I can't imagine any other defense contractor being able to get away with social media "jokes" about how no one is trying to assassinate the sitting U.S. president and vice president. Strange times.

talk about being too fragile...look how emotional and silly you are being when someone calls out musk. dude joked about assassinating the president and vice president. perhaps his billions worth of federal contracts should be re-evaluated. the fact that you get so upset over me saying that is very telling.
