August 31, we made a decision about our potential/available post season roster between King and Ferguson, I was told by multiple people on here it was the right move because Ferguson was out of options and King could still be optioned back to the minors. WhoTF cares about any of that, you keep the best pitcher that gives you the best chance to win a World Series. Who is picking up Ferguson off waivers after we would have released him? You could always have gotten him back on the roster in September, even though I have no clue why you even would entertain that. One of the most ridiculous trade deadline moves I've ever witnessed. Why did the Yankees hold ANY leverage in that deal? Simply insane.
