Saw a tweet that The heat index is going to be near 100 degrees by kickoff. They wouldn't open the roof against the Packers back in October of 2012 SNF. the missing panels sticking out for a national audience would have a lot to do with it. Thought Calhoun said they would be fixed by the first home game
Texans actually played down to a few opponents last season so that is my fear. Hopefully with some of the new vets and more experience they won't do it this Sunday.
Sooo many one possession games last year. 3 losses by 3 points or less. 7 of the 10 wins were by 7 points or less. Would be nice to have more comfortable wins this year. But the schedule is also harder.
You can find good people everywhere and Michigan has many. But the Cities EVERYWHERE are a different animal. I think it's anger at being caged in a zoo.
My perspective is we gave up a VERY UNEXPECTED special teams turnover which is generally our strength. So this is a game we would likely have lost last season. But this season we WON.
It's been 40 years since I was at UH and 20 since I was in Lansing, so things could have changed. But care is always a good idea.
Not EVERYWHERE. Just most places in America. There are plenty of cities around the world orders of magnitude more populous than those here which are quite safe, clean and nice to live in. There is a major difference in America, and it has nothing to do with population density or ‘being caged in a zoo.’
I actually feel we're solid with next man up at Center with Patterson and RB2 with Akers. Let's go hunt some grizzlies!
