I have two good friends that love MI. One was born and raised there. He now lives in AL, but keeps a Condo in DET for attending games and escaping the heat. My other buddy is from Texas originally and moved there when his wife got promoted, seems to be doing fine. There are some beautiful areas outside the cities. They're both retired military and we learn fast to make the best out of what we're given. Look at it as an adventure and stay positive.
