Yawn uh well… @astrosrule @bustamove This all started when you both decided to open your big mouths and speak of something you don’t understand. yawn As I wrote on here before which you likely didn’t read or didn’t comprehend TS% is a measure of scoring efficiency based on the number of points scored over the number of possessions in which they attempted to score. TS% is a metric that measures points per possession which means it measures scoring efficiency not shooting efficiency as it includes FT’s in the formula: Points / [2 * (FGA + .44*FTA) ] The .44 means the guy who created this metric said 44% of FT ends the possession. The formula doesn’t count and 1s, Techs, clear paths, or 3 point FT’s as ending possessions. Otherwise it would be .50 EFG% measures shooting efficiency (points per shot) valuing 3 pts 1.5x more. TS% simply rewards players who convert FGA to FT’s on possessions. It also rewards 3 pt shooting. (More points in less possessions) And guys like Curry and Conley benefit from this. I give Jalen 20 games to show if he can be as good as Booker's 4th season in the NBA. If so, I don't bother giving up a ton of assets. Not just Jalen but the whole core. We can't make major decisions before seeing what these guys can do in Udoka's second season with some good culture and continuity in place. We have to give them at least 20 games or so to give us a sense of what we have at each position. I really like Booker, I think he's the perfect 1B on a championship team. I doubt he's going to be available anytime soon but it's nice to have their picks in case he asks out.
