Are people actually claiming that campaign promises need to be fact checked? You fact check objective claims like the election being stolen or not or whether a cabal of migrants are eating house pets bot whether a campaign promises is reasonable. That is up to the audience to judge.

Bush Jr. and Nixon were both a hair under six feet while Kennedy, LBJ, Nixon, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Obama, Trump and Biden have all been at least 6 feet tall. You have to go back to the 1800s to find truly short presidents. Even in the early 1900s, presidents were just as tall as modern presidents.

She didn't answer the first question at all and she was very obviously nervous the first 10-15 minutes. She also later in the debate did not answer another question at all. I cannot agree with this - this is the first debate at the Presidential level where I have seen a woman debate as a woman and clearly has influential women leading her campaign. She easily attacked Trump's ego and easily exposed that he was more concerned about the size of his rallies, what other leaders have said about him and not the voters. She even discussed it at the end of the debate. Yes - and Haitians eating cats, and 9th month abortions and the size of his rallies and that he will not say that he wants Ukraine to win the war. His message is really simple, he even ditched the economy after she surprisingly held her own - it turned back into there being millions of bad people storming the gates ready to destroy America. Maybe it works, he appeals well to fears people have. However, I don't think this debate in anyway really increased the share of voters he has. No - in this debate she clearly discussed policy and what her vision of America is, she also pretty quickly dispatched with the message from Trump and his social media supporters that she is a silly woman that doesn't know what she is talking about and cannot stand toe to toe to Trump. She slapped him around, and he knows how to deal with a man going at him, he has dealt with it for 60 years - he knows how to go at a woman that debates like a man - but he is completely clueless how to attack successfully a woman that acts like a woman. He has less than 2 months to figure it out or he needs to hope she stumbles, but so far she really hasn't.

the fact that she baited him so perfectly during the question about immigration resulting in Trump spending that entire segment talking about his rallies and immigrants eating dogs instead of attacking her on the border was 1 of the most masterful presidential debate tactics you’re ever gonna see…was like a coach drawing up a 10/10 play out of the timeout and then the team comes out and executes it to perfection
