What was she untruthful about? You're the third or fourth poster I've asked this of...no one will answer.
Another Kamala lie: "Trump wants to sign a national abortion ban" Wrong https://apnews.com/article/trump-abortion-2024-ban-7bf06e0856b88a710c79a6eb85cffa6a I wonder why ABC didn't fact check her on this super obvious lie to anyone that pays attention Lmao you just refuse to remove the blinders. Don't blame others for you not knowing she was telling lies just as much

Could compare counts, but saying that Haitian. Immigrants were eating people's pets counts for, like, 100. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. And to find the most downtrodden people in the country and make barbarous accusations like that is extraordinary. Even if it was true, you don't claim it in this venue without forensic evidence ready to show. Harris told some traditional politician lies. She called a tariff a sales tax, okay. Not true and misleading and dishonest. But the difference in gravity of the lies is logarithmic.
He literally said he would would leave it to the states. Did you not read the AP article from months ago?

WSJ has an article this morning about how non-committal his campaign has been about this. https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/ha...-a-national-abortion-ban-WHf1LWuozNxnk4w7pU0F His own VP candidate says he believes Trump will sign a bill. Please keep in mind that this is all in the aftermath of Supreme Court nominees testifying under oath they all believed Roe v Wade was well settled law that wouldn’t be overturned….before they, themselves, signed on to an opinion to do just that. That’s the larger context here. That people aren’t exactly comfy with the back and forth here from the campaign on this issue is to be expected. He had a very clear opportunity last night to answer this question directly and he dodged it.
You should direct quote. The transcript is available: But understand, if Donald Trump were to be re-elected, he will sign a national abortion ban. Understand in his project 2025 there would be a national abortion ban. Understand in his project 2025 there would be a national abortion -- a monitor that would be monitoring your pregnancies, your miscarriages. I think the American people believe that certain freedoms, in particular the freedom to make decisions about one's own body, should not be made by the government. Is that a factual claim to be fact-checked by the moderator, or a prediction? A fact-check would require Trump stating, definitively, that he would not sign such a ban. Well, the moderators gave Trump an opportunity to make that statement for the record. And he couldn't give a straight answer. LINSEY DAVIS: Would you veto a national abortion ban if it came to -- FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, I won't have to because again -- two things. Number one, she said she'll go back to congress. She'll never get the vote. It's impossible for her to get the vote. Especially now with a 50-50 --essentially 50-50 in both senate and the house. She's not going to get the vote. She can't get the vote. She won't even come close to it. So it's just talk. You know what it reminds me of? When they said they're going to get student loans terminated and it ended up being a total catastrophe. The student loans -- and then her I think probably her boss, if you call him a boss, he spends all his time on the beach, but look, her boss went out and said we'll do it again, we'll do it a different way. He went out, got rejected again by the supreme court. So all these students got taunted with this whole thing about -- this whole idea. And how unfair that would have been. Part of the reason they lost. To the millions and millions of people that had to pay off their student loans. They didn't get it for free. But they were saying -- it's the same way that they talked about that, that they talk about abortion. LINSEY DAVIS: But if I could just get a yes or no. Because your running mate J.D. Vance has said that you would veto if it did come to your desk. FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, I didn't discuss it with J.D. In all fairness. J.D. -- And I don't mind if he has a certain view but I think he was speaking for me but I really didn't. Look, we don't have to discuss it because she'd never be able to get it just like she couldn't get student loans. They couldn't get -- they didn't even come close to getting student loans. They didn't even come close to getting student loans. They taunted young people and a lot of other people that had loans. They can never get this approved. So it doesn't matter what she says about going to congress. Wonderful. Let's go to congress. Do it. But the fact is that for years they wanted to get it out of congress and out of the federal government and we did something that everybody said couldn't be done. And now you have a vote of the people on abortion
The Federalist and Breitbart lmao Those sound like middle class jobs to me. The link is to an opinion piece. I don't know anything about this. He literally attempted to steal the election by having Pence not certify the vote and have alternate electors change the vote. Well, hell's bells, if Trump said so, it must be true. His team is crawling with Heritage Foundation members and he spoke glowingly of their plans. Not seeing a lie here.
So...criminal unless the life of the mother is in jeopardy. Cool. Yeah, and all Trump's SCOTUS nominees said Roe was settled. Also, he should tell JD about his plans on a national ban, he didn't get the memo. TIL there are 21 weeks in 9 months. Links to an opinion piece by the author of The Rise of BlueAnon: How the Democrats Became a Party of Conspiracy Theorists. He's not immune if his actions follow this convoluted flowchart that always ends process at immunity.
I haven't followed this closely, but she seems to be fumbling over this one. +1. Seemingly denied, eh? Hard-hitting fact-checking there. Oh, please. He riled up his voters for a year, told them it was going to be wild, and had Rudy yelling to the crowd about "trial by combat". Debatable as to what triggered the stroke, I guess. Also, the suicides. If you march with Nazis, you are a Nazi. If you want white supremacist statues to stand, you are a white supremacist. +1.
I don't see how this exonerates Trump. LOL. Not sure what qualifies as a "war zone" in this case. Certainly not Iraq. Sounds like semantics. According to Republicans, Trump good. She should have clarified she was talking about assault weapons. +0.5. Secure by what metric? +1, I guess. How Marxist of him.
Isn't that what literal blood libel is? Libel as in false claims at a level that would generate enough hatred to cause targeted violence?
What we can see is that the perception of what is a "lie" is clearly influenced by the bias of the "fact checker" him- or herself. That's why these "fact checker" sites are so manipulative - they pretend to be some kind of neutral third party that really objectively checks facts, but when you then really scrutinize them, you will see that they are almost always leftist or left-leaning. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...eckers-snopes-ceo-suspended-for-lying.312753/ Even obvious lies by politicians from the left at best get classified as "needs context" whereas false statements by the other side never get that "privilege", they just get called "false" or a "lie". The CNN 33-1 thing is a totally obvious and egregious example of that. Both of them avoided answering the questions, lacked depth, lied. Kamala had her talking points rehearsed better and successfully baited Trump. Trump couldn't control his narcissism and came across as an angry, negative old man. But in terms of lies and evading answers, they were both bad.
I never found Trump likable, and his performance yesterday did nothing to improve that. But I find Harris just as bad, in different ways. Her phony, fake emotional sob stories, interjected when she has nothing of substance to say and her annoying cackle are grating. She tries so hard to be Obama, without having the intellectual capacity or charisma or genuine conviction of Obama.
You in fact used the word unhinged once to describe Trump's performance yesterday which implies things like extreme claims which implies more claims that are easier to fact check than more grey claims that are debatable. Trump said unhinged things. Unhinged things are usually extreme claims that are more obvious to fact check. It's really that simple.
