Many of them want to do away with the FBI and justice department, all because they did their jobs and investigated Trump. Pisses me off to no end.
Yeah the cop told him to keep the window rolled down. I'm pretty sure rich sports celebrities have had speeding tickets where they just complied and kept their window rolled down. @Salvy Plus I get it, he has McLaren , so he's suppose to drive fast.
well maybe posters here need to try that experiment with cops and see what happens. go speed, get caught, then don't cooperate. @Salvy
We need cops like this in Houston, it's like Fast and Furious on the highways every night with the Dodge Hellcats racing
Wokies are so triggered by cops doing their jobs that they are blinded to every form of reality, that situation could have easily escalated for worse had the cops not ended Hill's hissy fit. This man really thought he was going to punk law enforcement into just saying sorry and writing him a ticket. Things don't work like that, he was driving stupid and then continued to act stupid because of his money... Bro never watched Chris Rock
Imagine taking a thread about Tyreek Hill being pulled over for a traffic violation and somehow connecting it to Trump and going off on a Trump rant. Talk about Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Hill should just hire a police escort to games and he can speed and run all the lights. It's great what some money can do in this country. Edit: also I'm sure the cop will get disciplined or fired. Excessive force is still a bad look and this is terrible publicity.
Imagine ignoring what Trump said about giving police federal immunity. What is the commonality? Police accountability obviously. Funny enough how people want to ignore that
What was the reasoning of dragging him down the pavement the second time. He was already handcuffed. And was not resisting at that time. If you want even argue Pennsylvania v. Mimms on dragging him out of the car you can(I don’t argree with that but you can argue it) . That is weak in itself but the use of force the second time to make him sit down was excessive. He was not resisting at that time and posed no danger. This was a power trip by the cops period.
@HTM ocho and sharpe must be trump supporters for saying that Tyrek should have just complied and not argue
Looked like it was hella hot outside and the popo wanted the guy in that car to feel what he was feeling. Tyreke slow rolled everything like he wanted to see how this would blow up. Def had mob boss movie vibes when a rookie cop tries to bring the boss in for shoplifting. He's lucky no one recorded how he drove before in order to get pulled over. His entourage shouldn't block traffic. They pulled the same sandbagging tricks by claiming compliance but slow rolling and testing the patience of the police. Not like a traffic ticket will set them back or anything.
Did you actually watch the video you posted? Ocho and Sharpe didn’t condone the use of excessive force. They talked about limiting the risk of excessive force possibly happening. Next time maybe watch the whole video before posting:
That wasn’t his entourage. That was his fellow teammate Calais Campbell. He parked on the side the road to try deescalate the situation
I wonder how many self labeled libertarians in this post thread are like "bUt wHy dOnT yOu ObEy cOmManNds!?" It's always the self labeled libertarians that will defend a ego tripping cop. Why? It makes no sense given their self labeled ideology. Maybe libertarianism is just the freedom to exploit labor and nothing more.
Was it that SUV owner in front with the passenger recording the whole thing? He cant block traffic like that, and that was pretty bad deescalation. The driver behind was calmly de-escalating but you realistically can't do much in that situation.
An ideologically consistent libertarian would look at this incident and say "this is why we need the second amendment, because of ego tripping people in government positions of authority". Not "but why don't you just obey?".
Because you're supposed to obey, they have the authority over citizens/civilians, simple as that. Just like your boss tells you what to do n you do it, he's your boss in the law enforcement - civilian encounter. But you're mad because you got cought n you fu$k around n find out real quick. Don't fu$k around
A cop enforces the law. The law here would be speeding. With a license plate you can mail the ticket. That would be the extent of the actual job requirements of an officer. The idea that a cop is a boss that demands respect at face value is not only fascistic but cringe. You can't be waxing lyrical about manhood and pretend that cops are your boss. That's very beta behavior. A cop doesn't deserve to be respected. If a cop feels offended, that is a problem the cop has to deal with on their own time. And in a work setting you can tell your boss no when they are exercising ego tripping rather than telling you what to do because the job at hand needs to get done. There is a difference. A boss can't order you around just to satisfy their narcissism. Their orders can only be based on producing for the company, not satisfying the ego of the boss. And if you are in a work environment where you get fired because you refused to satisfy your boss ego tripping, then that was a bad job in the first place and it would be better off to not work under that work setting. I think most rational people can understand when a person of authority is giving orders based on protecting their ego vs trying to accomplish something productive.
Be a tough guy then but don't cry later, or be a "beta" (or just nice and have manners) for 10 minutes n you'll never see him again unless he shows up in court, which is rare anyway.
This isn't about what Tyreke Hill ought to do. Tyreke Hill isn't being paid to be a public servant. Are you a beta b**** who lays down when public servants become uppity? As a citizen I'm reviewing our public servants. Tyreke Hill is a private citizen. I don't care to review his actions. I care to review public servants in positions of authority. Abd that one public servant at a certain point was carrying out actions based on protecting his ego than serving he public. I couldn't care less about Tyreke Hill. I'm judging paid public servants.
