Understanding math is not hating math. The computation is never better than the quality of the input.
I don't like relying on a covered receiver to "make a play", but it's nice to know we have some who can.
The ugly win is a sign of greatness. But to put things in perspective based on last season, we lost the ugly games against Atlanta and Carolina when we decided we would force the run for strategic reasons and LOST.
yes because he did it as a 2nd back. If DP comes back and does that with 20-30% of the touches, it will be even better.
I'm pleased with this comment. I was about to comment about anxiously awaiting Seth Payne and other all 22 film analysts to see if my eye test by a rank amateur would be confirmed. We gave up a little in protection and added a bit in run blocking.
What a great win, it wasn't the prettiest game but dam we pulled it out. Who knew the best defense was a running game to keep Richardson off the field in the second half, Mixon was a beast and I am sure he is sore as F today, the dude took a pounding and more importantly he gave a pounding, so dam impressive. The Nico catch on the sideline was ALL WORLD..............no way he caught that ball That win was all grit and I am so proud of this team, I had this as an L in my "predictions" and so glad I was wrong.............I think this win goes a long way with our goal of reaching the SB................so dam proud. FYI, man if Richardson puts it all together, he is a scary mofo
I thought it was odd that Akers was inactive, but DP had a few good runs and then disappeared........very odd to understand what's going on at RB2
So the Titans and Colts QBs have the biggest disadvantage in our Division? I guess, if they have to play on slip and slide fields every home game they can use that excuse.
Did Anthony Richardson change any minds? I knew that guy was going to be a problem. CJ vs AR matchups moving forward are going to be fun to watch.
Anthony Richardson is basically a running back that got lucky on 3 hail Mary passes thrown up for grabs but struggled to make the most basic passes. I don't think anything he did yesterday is solid evidence of his long term or even short term success. Going by week 1, this is a one QB division.
He will need to learn to: Have proper footwork(its bad) Step up in the pocket Layer throws Work on mechanics to be accurate Read through progressions(yesterday he was 1 read and take off) Teams will adjust if the deep ball trend continues by playing a soft cover 2 and making him take 5-10 yard throws consistently where his inaccuracies will be highlighted. I think low chance that he becomes Cam Newton reincarted. Fun to watch though.
Dude has an absolute cannon and can run. His fundamentals and accuracy are suspect. If he can tighten that up, he's going to be a headache to deal with.
