Love me some Ward but he can't "centerfield" like Bullock. Twice he made Pierce look like the receiver I wanted the Texans to take.

Lassiter will have some learning to do for sure but the Colts Dline I think will be very good this year, but yeah pass protection was bad.

Running backs don't succeed without the offensive line playing extremely well.

Mixon gets a ton of credit for recognizing the holes, but the holes were there.

To think some posters had issues with Caserio trading up in the 3rd rd to pick Nico.

This team just feels different. A little of this showed last year, but 4 big plays were most of the Colts offense, but every single time, Stroud and the Texans came out, and said it's OK. We got this. Poised. Confident. Focused.

    Just feels different.

I came away from this game feeling actually less about the Colts than coming in. Blocked punt, hailmarrys... all kept it closer than it should have.

And not to mention the refs screwing the communication at the end of the first half.

That's what will happen when Will Levis is your QB.

    t*** and Jagoffs lose!
Mixon and the O line run game was fire.
    Collins catches were insane.
    Diggs with two scores!

I thought AR looked terrible. He hit two toss up bombs but otherwise looked really inaccurate.

And then there's Bryce Young. He might be the biggest flop since Ryan Leaf.

I think the score would have been a bit different had there been a better field surface. Doesn't seem like it affected the Colts as much as the Texans. Even Steichen said it wasn't a problem at half, probably because they knew what they were walking into. I think CJ would have been much sharper as well.

Mixon got a light box all game. He was great, but the play calling was good too.

He had way too much time to throw those bombs, but luckily he threw a bunch of crappy passes too.
