if Verlander doesn't prove he has returned to form in these final few starts, some hard decisions will need to be made
Gone for about 5 days and came back to this argument over Julia and Maldy. Cool, I didn't miss anything.
Oh I'm not saying I don't enjoy her on the broadcasts and as a part of the team. She's great for that. I'm just saying she's not on my top 10 for attractive people or anything, in terms of looks. My friend is in love with her though. I don't understand it
Julia is not what is called a 'classic beauty' but she has a smile that lights up the entire room. If you don't long to catch a smile from Julia, there's something wrong with you.
Depends on how he's throwing the ball. Certainly Espada should have a much lower threshold for letting him work his way out of trouble.
Was at the game yesterday, broke my heart seeing Blanco come out of the pen. His body language showed he wasn't too thrilled. He didn't deserve the demotion. What annoys me more is that Espada went with Ferguson/Abreu in the 7th. Should have Blanco go 3 to save the bullpen. Don't understand Espada's unusual decisions sometimes...
Blanco has already pitched 25 innings more than he ever has before, and also pitched winter ball. It is a fact that pitching is not a natural or easy task on the human body, especially the elbow and shoulder. Extra repetitions increase the likelihood of injury and common belief is that reducing innings is the best way to avoid injury once a pitcher has hit a personal most innings/pitches threshold. The Astros simply must protect pitchers from injury when they can. They have been terrible at this and must improve. And Verlander being back this them an opening to do this.
