I'm looking forward to seeing the players who essentially skipped the preseason like Mixon, WAJ and Tunsil. I know they worked out, but avoided games. A complete starting OL. The DE pairing of WAJ with Hunter (btw - what a great name for a DE). The starting GUY behind a healthy OL. It COULD BE fun. Now here is the question of the day. How many players catch a pass today? Here is the question of the YEAR. Does JJ Watt catch a pass this season? What odds could you get with all the unlikely decisions necessary for that to happen?
Good morning fellow Texans fans hope everyone is excited. Pumped up getting a good breakfast! Is it noon yet?
So Bengals players made a ton of cracks about AR during their joint practices. Like to his face saying stuff like ‘are you gonna throw the ball?’ lol. Meanwhile, Andrew Wentworth was on Rich Eisen talking about his former team the Rams and thier Joint practice with the Texans. He said several ppl he knows on the team were like ‘yeah CJ is the real deal.’ Texans 31 Pony’s 20
I'm very much expecting a blowout win for the Texans today, anything less would be a disappointment. The Texans need to stack the box and force the Colts to try and beat us in the air. If they do that, the game shouldn't even be close.
I was going to draft Anthony Richardson on my fantasy team, but that quote from the joint practice and his preseason game against the bengals kinda turned me off from drafting him. I drafted Lamar Jackson instead.
Come on, Bobby! A blowout? I’m looking forward to seeing how the Front 7 does against JT. He’s been killing us the past 4 games. I think 130+ rushing yards a game.
I think the Texans can key in on stopping him because the secondary should be stronger than it's ever been in those past 4 games. I think without the threat of a competent passing game, Taylor will struggle if he even stays healthy.
Have to shut down Anthony Richardsons run game. Make him have to throw to win. The Texans have a very ball hawkish secondary and arguably the best pass rushing DE’s pair in the NFL. I expect the game to be close. People that expect a blowout are going to be disappointed. This is the NFL… not UT going up against UTSA.
