That story of the kid getting assigned the old phone number of a current NFL wide receiver was a good one.
Dam, the Chiefs and Ravens are so dam good, no lead is really safe and its who has the ball as time expires. Lamar was fantastic running and passing, but the Chiefs seem to have his number, hell of a way to start the season. To play these 2 teams back to back within 4 days looks daunting..........its almost criminal that the schedule is that brutal
Playing these two team 4 days apart ( Right after playing Miami) is actually a no lose situation. Even if we lose, few would have expected us to win. But 1 or even 2 wins puts us firmly in the favorites category.
Watching the game last night - how in the heck did Baltimore get flagged for so many "illegal formations" when Kansas City was also doing the same but didn't get called out for it like Baltimore did? It was obvious and not even subtle.
Agree 100%, but the kid can sure motor when he needs to, the problem is you do that to much and you end up hurt and unavailable. CJ is next level accurate
Cracking down on illegal formations and the kid on the Ravens was the most penalized last year so it "looked" like they were targeting him........the Chiefs play by the "Jordan Rules"
F*** the Bills for giving the Chiefs Worthy on a silver platter. Shoud've just drafted him for Allen instead of giving Mahomes the fastest guy in combine history.
The field affecting the quality of play and the lack of a passionate home crowd make this game a downer for me.
I don't think hurts is terrible, he's one of those guys where if you put ELITE stuff around him he's good enough, like tua or purdy. Give him an average group and he's pretty mediocre though
Yeah they only wanted to make an example out of the Ravens it seems. The Chiefs were doing it all game long and it was blatant. Their receivers were also not getting set at all..the same b/s that Tank got called with last season. I get angry every time I watch the Chiefs now.
