Per Espada postgame interview: - Bregman plays tomorrow - Tucker D2D -- prob just potential swelling. He should be good.
I’m debating on getting tickets in the infield club level or Crawford boxes tomorrow. which ones are better?
Framber has thrown 41 innings since the beginning of August, he's allowed 15 hits. That's a batting average just north of .100. If not for the Anaheim f**k up on his part, he's 100% near the top of the Cy Young mix. But maybe in the long run that blowup is what he needed to get his mind right and lock in
At some point of the game (maybe 5ish inning) D-Backs booth said something along the lines "guys are not trying to hit.....they are trying to make contact". That is pretty funny when it looks like Framber does't even try to overtly hide the ball much with his pitching motion. Looks like he just releases it and let the spin & movement do it's thing .
Framber is a top 3 pitcher in the MLB when he can locate his fastball/curve. That tunneling action is dive left or dive right. Nasty.
With Dezenzo being sent down, unless Diaz and Caratini start rotating at 1B more, we're going to see way more Singleton at first base than I'd like.
Singleton is perfectly fine against RHP and should start every game against them unless that level falls off. His overall OPS has been trending up since the team started platooning him full time. It would be really nice if Chaz or Dubon started performing at their career levels against LHP because Gamel and Jon are probably gonna be OK vs RHP.
Hopefully Diaz/Caratini rotate more and if that doesn't happen then maybe Singleton and Whitcomb will platoon at 1B.
He better not be day to day. Better be playing every ******* day from here on out. He had 3 ****ing months to rest. Lol.
