This is our chance at a SB. Foley Fatukasi was a backup in Jville last yr. and Allen is a pipedream at the moment.

I'm just saying if Indy kills us with the run again on Sunday, who do we blame, when we had all summer to address this issue?

I'm much more worried about the LB's. Hansen playing a significant role wont turnout well. If Al Shaair and Too Too dont play well the DL will get the blame. But the LB's will really be the issue.

Who would you have traded for or drafted to fill the DT position?

I think if you consider the new contract as part of the trade I would consider it worse than the Bryce Young draft pick trade. I know the contract wasn't part of it, but they wouldn't have made the trade if they hadn't agreed to the new, ridiculous deal with Watson. And even if Bryce Young is never any good, at least he isn't going to represent insane amounts of dead cap for years, preventing keeping your other good/decent players or signing new ones.

The panthers can get out of Bryce whenever they want; the browns can't

They also gave up the number one pick in the draft…..what was the best pick the browns gave up? 12? That first overall pick has MASSIVE value, especially in a year with an elite qb prospect

It's a classic business mistake. After determining a value, your total outlay should be no more than that value. General Managers got into their minds they could pay both the Team for rights and the Player the players value instead of splitting it. They wound up double paying, even if their initial valuation is correct.

    Madebuke was off the board.

I liked Fiske too, that means you've gotta give up Lassiter.

I like the factthat Ryans got his guys in the secondary. He really didn't like the S position last year. Love Bullock and Lassiter. I worry about the LB's.

Let us revisit this thought after the season is complete.

Mixon and Diggs might be the the #1 and #2 acquisitions of the entire offseason…

When you're two big acquisitions score 3 TDs in their debut, you gotta feel good.

    Damn Caserio indeed.
