Your issue with voting for her is that you have to go to a different website to read her policy?

Do you believe going to a different website to read Harris' policy will change a lot of votes to Trump? Will it really turn out a lot of Trump voters?

I barely find it worth discussing here and don't believe it's a motivation for anyone to vote for one candidate or the other.

To me it seems that Trump supporters with nothing substantial to use, are now so nitpicking that which website they will need to visit to view policy. That's actually a pretty strong reason to support Harris.

Anyone who is undecided between Donald Trump and Harris because Harris isn't fleshing out nuanced policy positions to their liking is not a serious person.

The other guy goes on a rant about Rosie O'Donnell being fat when asked about marginal tax rates. And when he describes policy all he does is say something "is the best ever" or that his opponent's policy "is the worst ever".

You are a clown if you are hesitant to vote for Harris because she doesn't discuss policy enough. A clown and that's why I think the person you are replying to is not serious. They are trolling.

I don't know if this tweet is accurate, but there was one a few days ago posted on these boards attributed to Nate Silver that was completely made up.

I have looked at what Silver has for free on his site and see nothing about this - so I don't know.

Honestly - at this point it is too close all the way around. The national polling only matters to the extent it shows a trend, so the fact Harris is supposedly +4 doesn't mean much .... it is going to come down to maybe 4-5 states..... and of those 4-5 states, all of them except Pennsylvania naturally lean to one party. For example, Georgia usually picks a Republican if two candidates are equal and Michigan usually picks a Democrat.

So a lot rides on Pennsylvania ---- but, if for example, Harris wins Georgia, then she likely wins Pennsylvania etc... same for Trump, if he wins Michigan or Wisconsin, then he is likely winning Pennsylvania.

Yeah the tactics by activists are just so sloppy nowadays. The goal here is to talk to a Democrat to make them feel a certain way about Kamala that dampens their enthusiasm, and hopefully they share that lack of enthusiasm with undecided voters in their social circles, and ultimately that impacts the election.

Most of the time its pure gaslighting, but in this case its more of an enthusiasm play. Make you feel guilty or uncertain for your political support. "Kamala would have gotten my vote but she did X which I just cannot support." They pick X topic as a topic that they hope hits an area that those voters will be uncertain about. (here it's the SHES A FLIP FLOPPER talking point.... better than SHE LIKES SEX!! talking point I guess)

It's activism is all it is. Scarface might not be a paid activist, and might not even know that he's doing it, but him and the few others here certainly are doing that work for the Trump campaign.

    .....

Also worth noting that Kamala Harris' campaign has announced that they have activist they've been recruiting that they've asked to go on non-political forums (sports, etc.) and given them talking points as well to do much of the same type of work, but in their case they've actually got some real meat on the bones, and not just straight up misinformation, or gaslighting nonsense that insults the intelligence.

So it's just something we know is happening, and we can be pretty clear here that it's likely Scarface and others are really just acting as Trump campaign activists, and not engaging in good faith.

This NCP literally repeats the same thing day in and day out. One of them must have escaped the matrix and implanted itself into DaDa.

Both campaigns would be stupid not too.

Thousands of daily visitors on a non-political junkie site in a key swing demographic (men, high amount of minority) in a key county (mostly Harris county).

Both campaigns know they need to reach people where they are outside of the normal political junkie channels. Harris' campaign has said they are focused on online forums that have nothing to do with politics that have high traffic. If you do a quick internet search of local sports forums that have the highest traffic, and greatest reach CF is pretty high up there. I know Philly has some very high traffic local forums. Denver Broncos I know have a high traffic sports forum.

Yeah... they are dumb if they are not looking at Harris county specifically to see what modalities of engagement they could have that are non-political junkie specific, and try to engage with black, and brown men. Philly is probably more important to the immediate need of winning PA, but Harris county is seen as a tipping point for Colin Alred's campaign which would potentially give Harris a Senate majority if he beats Ted Cruz. What's Colin Alred known for.... playing in the NFL... aka sports.

Again... yeah not focusing on a Harris county heavy sports forum would be negligent.

    I like her quote....

Liz Cheney said former president Donald Trump and running mate JD Vance were “misogynistic pigs” at an event hosted by the Texas Tribune Friday.

“Every opportunity Donald Trump gets to show the American people who he is, he pretty clearly — and his running mate is doing this too — this is my diplomatic way of saying it: They’re misogynistic pigs. And I think that will become clear,” Cheney said when asked what advice she would give Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of next week’s debate.

Cheney — who lost her 2022 reelection bid to a Trump-endorsed candidate — also said at the event that her father, former vice president Dick Cheney, will join her in voting for Harris.

I don't think anything says more about how far off the reservation Trumps republican party has gone that the f**king Cheneys will be voting democrat.
