Worth repeating. Make no mistake about it. Trump will not stand up to Putin.

Meidas Touch has obtained the initial Deck Report that was provided to investors in 2022 to persuade them to put their money into Trump Media stock when the company went public. This report shows that the information provided made wild claims about revenue projections based on data that was not only flawed, it was fantasyland.

After the stock went public, the share prices soared based on a massively inflated valuation of the company based on projected earnings. Their accounting firm was subsequently charged by the SEC with "massive fraud." CEO Devin Nunes, who received a healthy base salary and stock equity in the startup to leave Congress to run the company, stated publicly that they had hundreds of thousands of small "retail shareholders" who put their faith, and their money, in Trump's new business venture. (Nunes recently dumped over $600K of his own shares, while CFO Philip Juhan recently sold $1.9 million of his shares.) There are also multiple pending lawsuits involving the company.

At one point, the stock reached a high of $79.38 a share. Since that time, it has steadily tanked, losing 75% of its value just in the last several months as smart investors cashed out and dumped the stock, leaving Trump fans holding the bag. The stock is currently trading at just over $17 a share.

Trump owns 59% of the shares in the company despite putting in none of his own money. Those shares were valued at over $6 Billion when the stock soared, but he was unable to sell his shares. His shares are now worth just over $2 Billion, and he is legally able to start selling them and cash out on September 20 based on a formula that was set forth in the initial public offering.

How were investors duped? Through wildly inflated earnings projections based on data that was obviously absurd to any objective person who looked at it.

The Deck Report stated that the company was projected to take in $114 million in revenue in 2023. It took in $4.1 million. It then projected the company's earnings to balloon up to $835 million in 2024. It currently has taken in only $836,000 through the 2Q of 2024. The company also lost $58 million in 2023 and lost over $343 million so far in 2024. So the company has almost no money coming in, declining revenues, and is losing a massive amount of money.

So, how did they arrive at these preposterous projections on revenue and earnings? They began by comparing their startup website favorably to Netflix, Disney, iHeart, Facebook and Twitter. They then showed how many combined followers Trump had on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, then assumed that those followers would become PAID SUBSCRIBERS to Truth Social, which would result in billions of dollars in revenue coming in. That absurd claim has proven not to be the case, as Truth Social has nowhere close to that many users and none of them pay anything since it remains a free app.

Based on those numbers, they projected to investors that Truth Social would have 81 million users by 2026 who would be willing to pay for a subscription, with estimates of advertising revenue based on those numbers using comparables with the other listed companies like Facebook and Netflix. Donald Trump, who is certainly followed by just about everyone using Truth Social, currently has just over 7 million followers on the site, and none of them are paying anything.

What was also amusing was that they claimed Truth Social would take a 'Big Tent Approach' to appeal to users across the ideological spectrum and cast a wide net for entertainers, artists and celebrities to become active on the platform. None of that happened. There are virtually no Democrats or celebrities of any kind on Truth Social. The vast majority of even Republican Members of the House, Senate and Governors are not even on Truth Social. The idea that Trump and Devin Nunes were going to attract paid subscribers to the platform who didn't love Trump was insane.

They then listed Trump's "entertainment successes" to try and show that he has a historically successful track record as an entrepreneur in the entertainment industry. But they cited The Apprentice franchise owned and run by NBC, and the Miss Universe franchise which Trump co-owned from 1996-2015, which was a successful enterprise founded and run by others for decades before Trump bought in.

Another interesting part of the report is that the SEC requires that the founder of a company disclose to potential investors a list of companies they were involved in that went bankrupt. Trump was forced to list several that he either ran himself or had licensing deals with that failed. These included:

Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza, Trump Castle, THCR, Trump Entertainment Resorts, Trump Shuttle, Trump University, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, GoTrump.com, and Trump Steaks.

It is clear Trump Media followed a familiar pattern of so many other Trump business enterprises over the decades: Wildly inflated claims and predictions of incredible future success, largely based on smoke and mirrors and salesmanship, then Trump cashing out while others lose their money.

Now he promises that he will run the country like his businesses.

I don't feel sorry for anyone duped by Trump. If they refuse to accept the fact that he is a grifting con and invest in his ventures that's their own fault. He has a long history of screwing investors, claiming bankruptcy, and commiting fraud. A grifter and con doesn't change his stripes at 78 years old.

MAGA is the dumbest collection of people on the planet

In the recesses of the internet where some of Donald Trump’s most fervent supporters stoke conspiracies and plot his return to the White House, suspected con artists have been mining their disappointment over the last presidential election for gold.

They’ve been peddling “Trump Bucks,” which are emblazoned with photos of the former president, and advertising them online as a kind of golden ticket that will help propel Trump’s 2024 bid and make the “real patriots” who support him rich when cashed in.

John Amann told NBC News he bought $2,200 worth of Trump Bucks and other items over the past year only to discover they were worthless when he tried to cash them in at his local bank. So he’s gone on Twitter to warn other Trump supporters not to fall for this scam.

Invest in a TRB membership card “issued by Donald Trump,” the ads from Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future and USA Patriots claim, and the purchaser who spent, say, $99.99 on a “$10,000 Diamond Trump Bucks” bill will be able to cash it in for $10,000 at major banks and retailers like Walmart, Costco and Home Depot.

Trump trinkets, souvenirs, NFTs, coins, shoes, and miscellaneous crap are only worth something to brainwashed red hats. He found a market of easy marks for his neverending products with his name, face, or imaginary vision of himself on. He found a bunch of cult minded fools to stroke his ego while throwing him money. I often wonder how so many people can be that dumb.

    JD Vance quote...

“Donald Trump and I are the only ticket for strong women and strong families in this country,” Vance says.

LMAO at that dude living in lala land where he thinks strong women love guys like him and Trump.

Harris leads among women voters, with 54 percent support compared to 41 percent for Trump. Smart women know what a sick creep Trump is, and don't approve of a male cheauvanistic pig who sexually assaults women, cheats on his wives, lusts over his daughter, and parties with sex trafficking pedos like Epstein.

Nobody in the the past 20 years had an average net favorability rating as low as Vance’s, and most women can't stand the creep.

It has been explictly held that FDR and the DOJ acted illegally. Korematsu's case was dismissed because the DOJ acted illegally by hiding evidence.
Why do you care what is in Project 2025 vis-a-vis this issue? Project 2025 doesn't have the force of law. It is a position paper from a private entity. If it disagrees with the court, as it does here, the law holds, not whatever harebrained thing Yoo can come up with.
They didn't rule for broad based presidential immunity, they ruled for immunity for Core powers, presumptive immunity for Official Acts, and no immunity for anything else. Essentially the same immunity enjoyed by prosecutors, judges, and legislators.
Immunity for Core powers, presumptive immunity for Official Acts, and no immunity for anything else.

One of two staffers involved in the altercation at Arlington National Cemetery is a deputy campaign manager for Donald Trump’s reelection bid, NPR has learned. The former president insisted this week the incident did not happen, highlighting a growing disconnect between the messaging of the candidate and his campaign. NPR is identifying both staffers after the campaign’s conflicting responses to the incident last week outside Section 60 of the cemetery, where many casualties of Iraq and Afghanistan are buried.

The two staffers, according to a source with knowledge of the incident, are deputy campaign manager Justin Caporale and Michel Picard, a member of Trump’s advance team.

Caporale is a one time aide to former first lady Melania Trump who left the White House to work for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis before returning to the Trump campaign. He was also listed as the on-site contact and project manager for the Women for America First rally in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021 where Trump urged the crowd to “stop the steal” before some of them stormed the U.S. Capitol.

After Trump participated in a wreath laying ceremony on the third anniversary of the deadly bombing at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan that killed 13 U.S. service members, Trump visited Section 60 at the invitation of some family members and friends of the fallen soldiers.

ANC rules, that had been made clear to the Trump campaign in advance, say that only an official Arlington photographer can take pictures or film in Section 60. When an ANC employee tried to enforce the rules, she was verbally abused by the two Trump campaign operatives, according to a source with knowledge of the incident. Picard then pushed her out of the way according to two Pentagon officials.

After NPR first reported the altercation last week, campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said they were “prepared to release footage” of the incident, and attacked the Arlington employee as someone “clearly suffering from a mental health episode.” Cheung also said they were granted access to have a photographer present, and pointed to a statement from Gold Star family members that invited Trump to attend the ceremony.

The campaign also released a TikTok video that included video footage from Section 60, including a smiling Trump flashing a thumbs up with family members at the gravesites. But other tombstones are visible in the picture, and at least one family of a fallen Green Beret has confirmed they did not give permission for his grave to be filmed or used in a campaign ad.

The Army released a statement last Thursday acknowledging that a cemetery employee “was abruptly pushed aside” and the campaign was warned ahead of time of the prohibition against photography and political activities at Arlington. The Army said the cemetery employee tried to de-escalate the situation after she was pushed, in hopes of not upsetting the Gold Star families in attendance.

The Army said a police report of the incident was filed, but that the employee had declined to press charges, and that the Army considered the matter closed, but added that “the ANC employee and her professionalism has been unfairly attacked.”

School shootings are a “fact of life,” so the U.S. needs to harden security to prevent more carnage like the shooting this week that left four dead in Georgia, Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance said Thursday.

“If these psychos are going to go after our kids we’ve got to be prepared for it,” Vance said at a rally in Phoenix. “We don’t have to like the reality that we live in, but it is the reality we live in. We’ve got to deal with it.”

The Ohio senator was asked by a journalist what can be done to stop school shootings. He said further restricting access to guns, as many Democrats advocate, won’t end them, noting they happen in states with both lax and strict gun laws. He touted efforts in Congress to give schools more money for security.

“I don’t like that this is a fact of life,” Vance said. “But if you are a psycho and you want to make headlines, you realize that our schools are soft targets. And we have got to bolster security at our schools. We’ve got to bolster security so if a psycho wants to walk through the front door and kill a bunch of children they’re not able.”

Vance said he doesn’t like the idea of his own kids going to a school with hardened security, “but that’s increasingly the reality that we live in.”

We are actually seeing this ruling in action now. It would appear the President raises it as a defense, then the court receives briefing on the issue, then a ruling is made on the immunity claim, possibly taking evidence, possibly just making a legal ruling on whether Act X is a Core Power, and Official Act, or neither. The same exact way other forms of immunity are used in the legal system.
Congress's role is in impeachment. The immunity ruling is with regard to criminal prosecution. We have seen impeachments that probably never should have been attempted by both parties. It remains to be seen if an impeachment will be partisan in the event of something where everyone agrees that what the President has done is beyond the pale.

A transcript of Trump's conference about his economic plan from yesterday:

    Trump on affordable Child care:

"Well, I would do that and we're sitting down, you know, I was, somebody, we had Senator Marco Rubio and my daughter, Ivanka was sooo..uh..impactful on that issue. It's very important issue… But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about, that, because, the child care is, child care is ..couldn't, you know, there's something you'd have to have it in this country, you have to have it. uh but when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I'm talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that..they're not used to but they'll get used to it very quickly. And it's not gonna stop them from doing business with us, but they'll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our Country. Those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers we're talking about including child care...that it's gonna take care. We're gonna have. I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time. Coupled with the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all the other things that are going on in our Country. Because I have to stay with child care..I wanna stay with child care but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I'm talking about INCLUDING growth..but growth also headed up by what the plan is that I just..uhh..that I just told you about, we're gonna-bee takin in trillions of dollars. And as much as child care..uhh..is talked about as being expensive, it's relatively speaking not very expensive compared to the kinda of numbers we'll be taking in. We're gonna make this into.....an incredible Country that can afford to take care of it's people..and then we'll worry about the rest of the World..let's help other people. But we're gonna take care of our Country first, this is about America first, is about Make..America..Great..Again..We have to do it because right now we're a failing Nation..so we'll take care of it. Thank you."

Great candidate that will make change for sure, absolutely the best the Republicans can put out there. Now somebody decode what the hell he just said.
