Accents can come back for sure. Mine gets thicker when I'm talking to my Dad apparently and I'm sure when with that side of the family. But I was never far away from that culture and was fully immersed in it. I don't see any evidence of Kamala being immersed in traditional American Black culture until she was an adult at Howard.

Kamala spent only 6 years in the East Bay. Prior to that they moved around to various college towns. Can you confirm she lived on the Black sides of town then? These college towns she lived in werent that Black.

Then around 11-12 moved to Canada when her Mom obtained her PhD and got her new job. I have plenty of biracial cousins. One group in particular that grew up with their mom. But they were always around the Black side of their family. Knowing is WAY different than being IN the culture. Kamala was never really in it.

And why does any criticism on Kamala turn into "if this is the best they got". Of course it isn't. Just a call out that felt out of place. And this probably wouldn't be discussed much if Kamala did more interviews and press conferences.

 

So since you are just pulling things out of your ass, you should try your head next.

Do you care when Barack Obama speaks with a more African American accent? Like Harris, he was raised by a non-black person, including abroad, and wasn't enmeshed in black culture. He's written about how confusing it could be for him.

Nah Obama didn't bother me, and I remember people trying to say he pandered then, but to be fair kamala really didnt either.

I just think the over the top defense of her for anything she does is hilarious. I haven't seen a single line of criticism from any left leaning voter here for Kamala but have seen several right leaning voters throw some at Trump even if they're voting for him. The absolute homerism going on is wild.

 

I really didn't like Kamala much but seeing all this pettiness over nothing from the right has me liking her more each day. Your guy shows up in different shades of orange everyday and is a convicted felon/rapist who bankrupted a casino. That right there should be enough for anyone with an IQ above thermostat level to not vote for him.

Kamala not doing interviews somehow became legit. Kamala not having policy positions on her website someone became legit. Kamala copying a Trump policies overlooked. Kamala not wanting to negotiate new debate terms but then last minute wanting to change the rules seen as okay. Kamala implementing policy positions as a Senator/VP but verbally saying she changed her mind is seen as honest from the left. Yet for all those things, Trump had similar criticism thrown at him. Are you overlooking those things simply because Trump is a felon?
