If y'all watched more than a few seconds of her speech in Detroit you would realize she was emphasizing a few words to make a point.

Don't take my word for it, watch...

Language continues to develop through adolescence and being in Canada from 12-18 would strongly shape her speech. You think she was speaking like a preacher to the Haitians in Montreal? Early childhood isn’t the only factor.

If only the courts would have agreed with you guys.

Ironically when they do find issues, it tends to be republicans that are the culprits.

So let me get this right, talking points so far by the maga commander

    • She slept her way to the top
    • she just became black
    • she is dumb
    • she is hard on black men who commit crimes
    • she is soft on black men who commit crimes
    • she could never stand up to a dictator
    • and the latest and greatest....................she has different accents based on who she is talking to

Sounds about right from maga land, even there talking points are just plain stupid and sexist. I especially love the one about her dating Montel W...................meanwhile the convict in charge of the gop is a rapist who does p*rn stars for money while married, and the cherry n top was his wife was pregnant.

in Kamala’s case, if this way of speaking were common for her then we would have heard it before. she probably wasn’t as exposed to these cultural influences growing up, which explains why it felt so out of place.

your example, that person was probably exposed to their culture way more. That's when the accent pops out. Kamala didn't connect with her "blackness" again until Howard

Yeah it is pretty awesome that white supremacists like Nick Fuentes can just come sit down, and have dinner with Donald Trump anytime they want.

N her dad moved to the States in his late 20s (I think). So there's no way she was exposed to the black American culture like that, except for music

You aren't really qualified to judge or even know what she was exposed to growing up.

Alright, but her biography is there to have an idea at least. Of course all we can do is assume.

Do you think Ja Morant is a real gangster? Most people think he's a wannabe right? Because of his background/upbringing

I didn't say anything about white people doing it - I said white people gate keeping, and deciding what is and isn't acceptable and normal.

Kamala spent the majority of her childhood in the USA, in California mostly and some in Illinois. She didn't move to Canada until she was 12-13 years old. She spent 6 years living in Canada before moving back to the United States and attending Howard University.
So, she didn't spend most of her life growing up in Canada.

As far as the claim she didn't attend Baptist Church - not sure that is really that relevant, there are a lot of places like Chicago where there are large black majority churches that are not Baptist. She did attend black churches growing up though, and she also spent a lot of her childhood in predominately black areas of town and the person that helped raise her when her mother worked was a black woman. Harris always knew that she was half black and half Indian. It is also reflected in where she decided to go to college.

With bi-racial people, it isn't uncommon for them to adjust depending on which side of the family they are with. I see it all the time with my son, and it is even discussed at his school.

The only people I see that care are people that already decided that they did not like her - or people that don't really know much about being biracial in 2024.

If this is the worst attack they have against her, then she is going to win the election.

Yeah - that is nice and all, but that is a real stretch - and accents can come back. When I am in South or East Texas, my accent comes back without me even being aware of it. It isn't a big deal to me - and I actually am around a lot of biracial people (when I thought about it) and is something that has come up numerous times over the last 15 years.

Anyone in sales or that works as a successful fund raiser knows you mirror the cadence of whom you are talking to, that is just good smart business.

It works in poker too and it is why some of us are way better than others at it.
