The very fact that it has already been addressed directly by the Supreme Court should be your first clue that it is not an Official Act within the powers of the President. Saying that he could do it anyway and by the time the Supreme Court did anything about it, it would be too late is no longer an argument about Presidential Immunity, it is about a rogue POTUS just acting outside the law. You have moved the goalposts from the President having immunity to the President doing whatever he wants and because some events are time sensitive, the consequences to the President coming too late.
