So it is that simple. You can argue against other claims, but if others think your claim is extreme then they are haters. It your privilege. We don't have the right to think that impact stat doesn't really show impact or is not reliable. And you are just repeating 'I am not saying he is better than sengun' crap. And then talk about people putting thoughts into you. By the way, now that you are ecstatic about pulling the discussion to sengun, here is a graph that shows Sengun takes the same amount of end of shot clock shots as Green with much better efficiency and he is in the top 50 in the league. I am sure the context is Green is always attempting much harder bail out shots, lol. Green is as usual below average in efficiency. (I am doing some actually bashing since you asked for it too much)
Even more so when they're hated by people who can't get their mouths off the dick of somebody without half of the potential ceiling.
Sengun is better than Jalen right now. I mentioned the bail out shots thing in 2022-2023 season from a similar tweet with a infographic of Green leading the league in something along the lines of "shot attempts from a pass with 5 seconds left in the shot clock". I forgot exactly what the wording was. The offensive system changed in 2023-2024 where they type of shot was distributed more to guys like Sengun and Fred also when the season before it was mainly Jalen and KPJ doing those type of bail out shots. Also your stat still shows Jalen being forced into more of those attempts than Sengun which is the nature of a guard vs a big man and part of the reason why guards have lower efficiency than bigs in general.
Oh, the context thing only matters when the evidence is against something. It doesn't really matter Sengun played 19 less games, actually Sengun has more per game. It is not even context, it is basic math but you only question things when they don't work out in your way. So my stat doesn't show it at all and again your context failed. It is normal when you always try to find context to support yourself.
1.8 attempts for 29% --- Juuuuuuuuuuuust sayin' He's really good at baby hooks though. Probably the best! Super efficient. Just dont count on him to make free throws, jump shots outside of 10 feet, defend the rim or play a full season (shots fired!) That said as of today if we're down 1 point in a one possession game I'd give the ball to Sengun.
Watch these MFs lose their ever loving minds (Sengun being 10th best is STILL really good, but watch them make excuses for a higher ranking)
Depends on where Sengun and the ball is. I trust Sengun the most to create something out of nothing within 0-10 ft from the basket. I trust Green to "create something out of nothing" from anywhere outside that.
I'd clear out for Sengun down 1 or run PNR with Jalen as the ball handler with Reed and Freddy in the corners.
I'm hoping the Rockets really center the offense around Sengun and Jalen two man game as the base offensive system. It's time to upgrade from Sengun and Fred as the base offense.
Lol, i never brought sengun into the discussion, you brought it and I told you explicitly that I am going your way on purpose. and after 1 post, you make that reaction. But you, the poster who replies to every single post that has green in it, is not insecure, lol.
Bro I'm claiming that you being easily triggered about context I brought up to counter claims that "Jalen Green impacts the offense the worst on the team" that shows one particular stat where Green is ahead of Sengun is you being triggered as a only fan and not hearing the actual words and claims I'm making.
Bro, I don't effing care if green is ahead, and I wouldn't care if sengun were ahead, because on/off impact is very noisy and doesn't measure impact anyway. That's what you don't hear. And you brought it all the time, not just against 'green is the worst' claims and I have seen you several times fishing people so that you can bring that up.
For those of us that know basketball, we have no doubt that what transpired in March can translate into this season. Timeline: Draft day: I said I expected Jalen to be around: Rookie: 178 pounds (ended up being around 173 pounds) 2nd year: 188 pounds (ended up around 182 pounds) 3rd year: 195 to 196 pounds. I don't know what he weighed but I'm guessing 184 pounds 4th year: I'm guessing he weighs 188 pounds judging from mini-camp. I said he probably wouldn't get bigger than MJ's rookie year; but won't need too in this thinner lighter NBA. 198 can still absorb contact while not losing that speed. So he is one year off my projection. Silas year one: Jalen Green used as a spot shooter. Stone tried building trade value of Danuel House, Nwaba, Wood and Eric Gordon......player like Gordon and C Wood were icing out Jalen and wouldn't pass him the ball. Stone passed on Eric Gordon 1st round pick. Silas year Two: still building up Eric Gordon trade value and others. Eric Gordon shot 34.7% from 3. Probably got less value than the year before when he shot 41.2%. Jabari was asked to be a spot shooter this being his rookie year. You understand that VanVleet was asked to be a spot shooter his last year with Toronto and his 3P% was 34.2%. Comes to Houston last year and VanVleet shot 38.7 from three. Udoka year one: Had VanVleet handle the PnR predominantly while Green learned the system. Sengun was given the job of being the hub of the offense. So you understand the role of a player can effect the stats. Jalen Green was asked in year one and three to be a spot shooter for stretches of those seasons. Bringing FG%, 3P%, TS% down. Green being asked to shoot a high quantity of 3's. Thread was made about moving Jalen Green to the bench. I discussed this (in thread) and said......the Rockets needed to trade Green. Most teams don't have back to the basket post up player(s) that muck up everything in the paint. Jalen Green would be better off going to a Boston Celtics (If they don't win the chip) for Jaylen Brown. Jalen Green would flourish and run all over this league with a Center like Porzingis drawing bigs out to the perimeter and unclutter the traffic in the paint. Same with being traded to the Pacers with a stretch center like Myles Turner and Jalen Smith spacing the floor. Jalen Green said, "HE SAID, HE WAS BEING USED WRONG!!" Which is what I've been saying for 3 years. Surround him with shooters and Green could dominate this league which he is built for (offensively). This was predicted before Sengun got hurt and March happened. Green played well enough to avoid being moved to the bench. Then Sengun got hurt about two weeks after the rumor of Green being moved to bench. Jabari, Amen, Dillon, Landale shared time playing Center which drew a defender out of the paint. Jalen Green was able to dominate the teams on the schedule. Only 2nd in ORtg to Boston..... whether the teams were bad or fighting to get into the playoffs....one just needs to look at the good defenders like the Cav team with Okoro or Thunder team with Dort/Jalen Williams. What's on the videos demonstrate how different Green was playing and how things will transfer over to this season. Double teams were implemented at half court to get the ball out of Greens hands. Unfortunately players like Reggie Bullock, Tate, VanVleet couldn't deliver a victory. We've seen that before when teams forced the ball out of Hardens hands at mid court. Others have to perform in that case. BRINGS US TO THIS SEASON: Green and Sengun showed flashes together in the two weeks prior to Senguns injury in PnR....but if Sengun doesn't hit some more 3's per game......we might see Green and Sengun time staggered. Green allowed shooters around him with a stretch center and allowed to go A.A.U. on this league. If it's more efficient.....Green may get the bulk of the minutes. Meaning Sengun will sit more. Udoka is all about winning and getting to the playoffs. If Sengun hits 3's......it's all good. Defenders will actually defend the Pick-n-Roll near the 3-point line. But Sengun has to be a treat there first. Quit pump faking guys 10 feet away. Just shoot it. Both will get max extensions. If Mobley can get a max and all he does is just stand there and be tall (no offense), or Suggs can get a max while just playing a little better on defense......I have no doubt Jalen will do enough to earn a Max. I know my stuff!!
So again when your argument fails, you resort to sof, insecury etc. The fact is that you thought Green takes more last second shots, which was incorrect and you didn't feel the need to check if that was really the case because you were already happy with the outcome. But if Sengun and green stats were reversed you would have noticed that, Green played less games and that's why his total is less. That sounds awfully like a player only fan.
I'm starting to believe you can't read a infographic. The infographic you posted literally shows Green having more of those attempts. Sengun has a higher efg% on those type of attempts.
Lol. I went to read some news spots and come back an hour and 1/2 later and fch and AS are still going at it. I really don’t think any new arguments have been made about Jalen or Sengun since the season ended. Can’t wait for the season to start and we can at least b**** about Ime’s offense or what Stone didn’t do this off-season.
of course if you play 20 more games you will have more attempts. This doesn’t mean green was forced to more attempts than Sengun as you claimed. The reasonable comparison is the per game comparison. Again you don’t question it, because you are a player only fan and your contexts are always in favor of green and that is precisely why they are excuses.
Sengun is better than Jalen dude. He's more reliable. More consistent. Less mistake prone. Who are you arguing with? I usually bring up Jalen Green having to take tougher shots when people compare his efficiency to the likes of Tari Eason or KJ Martin or Cam Whitmore. This is what I mean by context and why Sengun is part of this conversation now. You are so much a only fan that any context I bring you automatically assume I'm trying to make a claim that Green > Sengun No, when someone says a player like KJ Martin is a better scorer than Green which were actual takes by people last season because his scoring efficiency was higher, I bring up these types of context.
