You have to define “addictive.” Fat and sugar are physically addictive because our body needs them. Too much though isn’t good.

Too many people in Texas are unwilling to accept that our state government is not doing a particularly great job at almost anything, are content to hide behind party lines for a reason I honestly couldn’t spell out, when this state should be top ten in basically every category. Top ten economy due to oil and gas, not exactly a feather in our cap there just happened to be oil here and btw a few guys getting infinitely wealthy isn’t really making the difference to the other 35 million of us. We could have so much more, easily, and the reason we don’t is because we let corrupt republicans have the wheel for 3 decades.
My personal unpopular opinion is that all online gambling needs to get fully banned again and non-tribal gaming (outside of a select few areas like Las Vegas and Atlantic City) should also be banned. Gambling is an absolute curse on families (as evidenced by the massive rise in non-medical bankruptcies in states that have legalized online gambling).
Richie Sambora is not a good guitarist. He's a great songwriter but technique-wise...his solos are boring, predictable, unimaginative and played with no feeling or emotion whatsoever.
Shipleys has gone down in quality as well as Whataburger. I know each can be affected by what part of town you're in (hood or River Oaks) but I go to one off 290 and Fairbanks for lunch and man its just not what it used to be..................maybe its just me but when I lived out of state I craved that **** daily and now its like meh
There is no consistency between locations on anything anymore. You have to find out where the "good" Whataburger and Shipley's are. I can say the old school Shipley's on Ella just north of 610 is always really really good, and the Whataburger on Wirt by I-10 is my go to. Conversely, the Shipleys on I-10 and Chimney Rock is total crap.
