    I know they could probably use the rest. But a day off between games 1 and 2 of a regular season series?

    Their last day off was Thursday Aug 15th, so I guess they didn't want to wait 2 more days to have the off day for this Thursday.

    KC headed for 7 consecutive losses and could swept at home if they lose tomorrow.
