If Republicans are only contesting the states in which they’re investing real money, this is what that map looks like:

Fake accent? Bush (junior, I'm assuming you're talking about him, because most people specify when they're talking about the senior) moved to Texas when he was 2 years old, so he was one of us. The senior lived in Texas for over 35 years before he ran for the office.

Kamala Harris’ campaign and the Democratic National Committee said Tuesday they are sending nearly $25 million to support down-ballot Democrats — an earlier investment and far more money than the top of the ticket has sent in past election years.

The funding in part reflects the Harris operation’s ability to spread money around after record fundraising over the past six weeks. But it is also a recognition of the importance of this year’s down-ballot races — which overlap with many of the swaths of the country that could decide the presidential election, and whose outcomes will substantially affect how Harris, or former President Donald Trump, will be able to govern next year.

The newly announced funds come from both the Harris campaign and the DNC, with a total of $10 million each going to committees supporting Democratic candidates for House and Senate, along with $2.5 million to a national Democratic group supporting state legislative candidates and $1 million each for groups backing Democratic gubernatorial and attorney general candidates.

The transfers to support down-ballot races are notable both for their timing and large amounts. In 2020, the DNC transferred $5 million to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and $1 million to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in mid-October, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission.

I for one DVR most of my shows and skip through any commercials.
To me it's a colossal waste of money. Repetition also turns into white noise as far as I'm concerned.
But again, I skip commercials, block political texts, and block political callers.
If you come to my door with a petition I will sign.

We have an former employee. He was fired because he was incompetent and regular had serious personal problems. Since he left, he has been convicted and is a felon. He also has an enormous judgment against him for sexual assault. Apparently there are dozens of women that he has assaulted over the last 40 years.

Anyway, he has recently been showing up back at work claiming that he wants his old job back. We recently had the former boss say he will retire in November due to age, the former employee is only a few years younger. What should we do? Also - the former employee has made references to the race and culture of the other top candidate and made social media posts about her and blow jobs.

GTFOH - Trump would have security called on him if he showed back up.

When everything is on video it just makes you look inauthentic. This combined with her saying she washes her greens in a bathtub before Thanksgiving just comes off super fake. No one does that because it's nasty AF. you use a bowl, pot, or the kitchen sink. Just a weird thing to lie about (no I don't believe her story at all): https://www.wsav.com/news/local-new...ed-greens-in-the-bathtub-and-gave-the-recipe/

don't get me wrong, she is as fake AF
    but so is the Donald.

All politicians are. Seen a lot of politicians do some cringy embarrassing shite thinking they were tugging a heart string.

PS. my first wife hardcore Italian. Her family kept eels in the "pre-Cleaned" bathtub on Christmas eve so the Capitone they made before midnight mass was fresh.

PSS everyone in church smelled like fried smelts.

Don't the Democrats have a huge money advantage anyway?

That breakdown is interesting for a couple of reasons:

    1) It tells us just how spooked the GOP is about another Georgia surprise
    2) The Dems outspending the GOP 10x in MI/WI is nuts (imagine where that money would be going otherwise)
    3) NC/NV getting so little GOP attention tells us just how confident they are the result is already baked into those states (R/D split, respectively)
    4) Everything rests on PA and the money backs that up

Based on this spending, the election is either going to be a nailbiter (narrow R win) or a complete blowout (Dem 300+ points).

That data mainly makes me feel sorry for people who live in Pennsylvania! $140M worth of really dumb and hyperbolic ads.

    Bro,
If you lit a match close to anyone in a wool sweater at midnight mass it would have been like Muther F'ers going up like napalm.
    Fish and wool smelling napalm.

No kidding. I wish VA was on that list. This state is weird given it went 10+ for Biden in 2020 and yet elected a Republican gov in 2022.

    Virgina is a crazy state,
Always seems like the whole state is voting red, except the one most populous area, and boom Dems win.

Predictions have little meaning at the moment. Harris needs to have a debate and unscripted discussions. Once those happen, we will have a better idea.
Unless Harris continues to hide out for the remainder of the election.

Kamala Harris Has Energized Democrats So Much, They Think They Can Win the South
That's probably because most of Trump's donations go straight into his greedy hands. His daughter-in-law makes sure of that.

After the debate, I suspect that we will have a consensus that Kamala answered the questions given (how well may depend on your partisanship) and Trump decidedly did not.

I also suspect that conservatives like David Brooks will say something like ... Kamala answered 42 questions in the debate. I liked all but one answer, so I am now voting for the Convicted Felon.

The whole "we will have a better idea" is disingenuous. You are just looking for material that can use to flog Kamala with.
