No? Obviously not lol This is why I wonder if people actually read entire comments or just see the first hint at being positive about Jalen and assume that "Jalen stans" think he's some already made superstar lol.
Yeah, in reality, I think the community is pretty closely aligned. This thread is just a bunch of hair splitting.
I'm not sure that person ever knows tbh, at least 50% of their posts come across like they're on powerful psychedelics whilst posting.
In fact it is not really a community but like the Republicans and the Democrats.....two factions within what they call themselves fans.....and probably the Green Party (no pun intended - climate related) the Ralph Nader Party.
Of course not. I need to see better scoring efficiency from him, something around 58 TS% plus roughly the same defense as the second half of last season. I think he can achieve it fairly easily with slightly better shot selection and a smaller proportion of jumpers in his overall shot diet. So basically his overall FGA stays the same but he takes fewer 3's and middies (resulting in more drives to the basket). His really poor efficiency comes from 3 places: - Step back 3's - Long range 3's (stats call these "wide open" but he's 25+ feet out for no reason whatsoever) - Middies on either side of the paint Those are just dumb shots. He needs to cut them out and Udoka has to yank him if he takes those shots. Great scorers know their spots. Green thinks he's good from everywhere and he's just not. We know Udoka is keeping an eye on his 3PT training this summer so improved mechanics wouldn't be a surprise. Added muscle will help his drives. I think he and we will be fine.
The problem is that he would probably be gone and a bad team will give him max or near max.....his agent would not hesitate.. Not that it is a problem with me. Teams were giving near maxes to players that were worse than Jalen Green. Market dictates.
As long as people don't get triggered by optimism. And no that isn't the same as being "triggered by pessimism". The past few pages was people cordially replying to negative claims of Green with context to consider and then people replying to that context with "lol Japan stand are unbearable" type rants.
Bleacher Report Projects Jalen Green, Not Alphren Sengun, will Be Top Scorer, -Ben Debose- From RocketsWire
It's always a safe bet that the mindless chucker who always chucks up the most shot attempts will be the top scorer... the only question is to what level the chucker is hurting their team with the selfish chucking.
that has to be a bot account with bad programming…at least 70% of its posts are completely random or unrelated to what is being discussed
I did think that myself at first, but I've been a forum moderator elsewhere and he seems too semi-lucid. I actually just think it's a pretty spaced out person who tends to communicate in cryptic nonsensical near-riddles because they think it makes them sound smart as opposed to completely random and a little crazy.
