You seem aggressive much this morning, doesn't align with liberalism. Or you're just mad you gotta go back to work?
Harris and her campaign were active in critical swing states during Labor Day, while Trump stayed at home. Can someone explain why Trump and Vance weren’t out campaigning yesterday?
As soon as I go back home to Texas to visit, I immediately turn on the y'all and fixin to button in my brain.
At this point I would not be surprised if the Trump Campaign did it and I would not be surprised if the reverse happened either Rocket River
Because they didn't. might be golfing, might be prepping for the debate. Donald might be minting coins to sell on the internet. Donald could be negotiating a deal to get Ivanka to pretend she likes him. So many potential reasons.
Would you be OK if I said that ... something something low IQ Rs something something. Plenty examples thereof on youtube, where a mic is stuck in front of a MAGA supporter, red hat and all. It is a simplistic troupe, but generalizing how all Rs are from those videos is lazy and should be avoided, no?
I don't even know what you're talking about. Are you the person that always confuses me with a different poster on these boards? Your entire post did nothing but talk about the people that post and nothing about issues, candidates or anything of substance.
Kamala Harris Has Energized Democrats So Much, They Think They Can Win the South https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/busines...ts-so-much-they-think-they-can-win-the-south/ Let's Go!
Trump literally did not have a platform in 2020. Now it's some form of project 2025 which is so unpopular that he is running away from it. It's a cult of personality with little actual policy, which makes it really hard to debate policy. Look at the posts from right wingers here, they are 99% culture war bullshit.
This reminds me of when I was on Facebook. Very boomer like infographic. It's the type of infographic that only works on humans who've been conditioned for decades to believe presidental effects in a economic system is akin to CEOs pumping up value for shareholders. And it's this mindset and brainwashing that makes politicians like Trump when they are in power during an election year do things that might have drastic long-term negative effects for society but might pump up economic numbers in the next quarter to get good election night vibes. Trump begging the fed to have negative interest rates in 2020 is a good example of a president caring about pumping up economic numbers at the expense of actual log term health of a country.
All of these factors matter: policies, character, trustworthiness, lawfulness, and the ability to govern. The POTUS, as the highest elected representative of all Americans, must embody these qualities. They have always been important. Policies lose significance when a candidate is morally bankrupt, attempts to overturn an election, and shows disrespect for the Constitution. It’s striking how these attributes seem to lose their importance when it comes to Trump. If someone else lies, it matters. But with Trump, some of his supporters dismiss these concerns and instead label others as sheep, brainwashed, and corrupt. The level of double standard and projection on display is remarkable. Many of Trump’s former cabinet members have refused to support him, and some have even publicly criticized him as unfit, not because of his policies, but because of WHO he is. These are individuals who worked closely with him and know him personally—not influenced by media or second-hand sources, but informed by their direct experiences with him.
Certainly some people do, but it isn't at an equal frequency and isn't encouraged by the nominee and leader of the party, so it's quite different. I think most people understand that there will always be folks that resort to extremes and violence, but they will be a minority. Most people also see when a leader encourages the violence, honors, and praises those that have engaged in the violence, promises to pardon them. Only those that whish to excuse the leadership of those actions would try to pretend the offences are equal and the same.
