The other thing the leftists are dishonest about are the conditions of a potential "deal" with the terrorists.

They would include freeing the worst of the worst Hamas terrorists, who have already murdered countless people, from Israeli jails.

It is certain that just like when Sinwar was freed, they would just continue more and worse atrocities down the road.

So, as they do with the economy all the time, leftists would just lie to themselves and everyone and kick the can down the road and make things worse.

You don't know this. If that were the case, why didn't the IDF execute it 6 months ago? Were they incompetent? The more likely reality is that it's incredibly difficult to locate the hostages and then safely extract them.

Netanyahu took a risk, and unfortunately, it turned deadly for the hostages. Israelis are justifiably angry because this outcome wasn't unexpected. Now, they are also rightly demanding that the safe return of the hostages be prioritized over military actions aimed at completely wiping out Hamas.

Extremely lucky she was in the prisoner/hostage exchange that went well. I think they let her go because her immediate captors didn't do anything to her.
