Mine is as well....we just don't talk politics, and when he tried, I hit him with facts and he hung up....lol. DD
Everyone else is past the Swiftboating. With ‘Swift Boat’ architect at the helm, Trump campaign uses familiar playbook against Walz https://www.sepe.gr/en/politics/224...campaign-uses-familiar-playbook-against-walz/
I understand why they are continuing the attack on Tim Walz’s record because this is wha the Rightwing does and actually shows the paucity of other attacks on Tim Walz. It might not have the affect that they are intending. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/22/us/veterans-walz-vance-record.html Veterans Say Attacks on Candidates’ Service Records Are a Turnoff Many veterans say that disparaging an opponent’s military service, as JD Vance has done with Tim Walz, is unhelpful, and they want to hear about current issues instead. Republicans backing the Trump campaign have kept up their attacks on the military career of Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota during the Democratic convention, accusing him, among other things, of having abandoned his fellow soldiers by retiring from the National Guard to run for Congress in 2006, months before his unit deployed to Iraq. But the attack may not be having the intended effect. Many veterans, including undecided and conservative voters, said this week that they saw the sniping over Mr. Walz’s service as harmful to all veterans, in and out of the political arena. The recent attacks on Mr. Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president, were begun by his opponent on the Republican ticket, Senator JD Vance of Ohio, who served in the Marine Corps for four years. And they have been repeated by other prominent Republicans who are veterans, including 50 members of Congress who signed a letter this weekclaiming that Mr. Walz had lied and had “violated the trust” of other veterans. “Name-calling, talking about people’s record, like, that’s not helpful,” said Vince Young, 32, a former Marine Corps mortarman and undecided voter who lives in Charlotte, N.C. He said his main concern was the economy, and that seeing one veteran disparaging another turned him off. More at link.
He was in Afghanistan as a Congressman. Typical. You do absolutely no research. You just post Xeets. Grow the **** up.
you’re embarrassing yourself In the clip, Tim Walz claims to have been in Afghanistan and spoken to soldiers there, which is correct. He was there as part of a congressional delegation, after his military service had ended.
Not sure why you posted the same video again, but you do you lol. See above: He said these weapons "I carried in war". Truth or lie?
I posted it because it has a community note… 2 seconds of research would show he’s been to Afghanistan…y’all get played so easily it’s embarrassing
The dude making that comment is a fool. What's a disgrace is that Trump the pathological liar is their Presidential candidate. It doesn't get worse than that guy.
