Almost got his 2nd 3-HR game in less than a week, but got just under it.

    Win the game.

I totally agree… but we also have evidence of him being dog **** after two 1-week rest stretches he’s had this year, mainly from a command standpoint.

Obviously I don’t have access to what his spin rate is doing or how his stuff has changed with more usage or less usage. Some guys rely on that feel. Hopefully smarter people will figure it out given that they may not be in “win every game” mode.

Maybe put him on the IL for 2 weeks. Or have him plunk someone to get 10 days off

Probably the biggest upgrade ever at the catcher position.

His strike zone wasn't large... it was horrifically random.

Yainer can look so completely lost and then hit a laser...it's quite impressive to watch.

He seems to have literally no plan...see ball, hit ball.

Random and large. Many called strikes well out of the zone.

Vlad Guerrero made it to the HOF with a similar approach.

I'm trying to decide which comes first, Social Security becoming insolvent or Diaz becoming a legit starting catcher.
