How about being an old Oiler fan (now Titan fan) and seeing your team lose the superbowl by one F'n yard. And before you go all crazy on me, remember George, Del Greco, Bishop, Hopkins and McNair (RIP) were on that team from the Houston days.
Once the Oilers left, they were dead to me. Winning the SB *after* leaving, would’ve been a slap in Houston’s face. F*** Tennessee and Bud Adams.
That was 2000, first year of the Titans. We had been awarded a franchise but I was STILL rooting for them and wanted them to win that SB. I watched the Music City Miracle live. Don't forget Wycheck (RIP) Bruce Matthews, Eddie Robinson, Marcus Robertson and Steve Jackson. Oilers that I really wanted to win so they could forget Buffalo.
I def agree **** Adams but it wasn't the players fault they left so I admittely rooted for some of those old Oilers, in spite of Adams. Now after that Sb **** em', I moved on
Actually it does. Original teams I follow no matter what, not the city they started in. Much better than moving to a new city and "suddenly" becoming their fan. Old Oiler (Titan), Astro and Rocket fan until they dissolve.
day games in postseason never made sense to me. especially during the weekdays. weekend, sure whatever. weekdays? who schedule these shiet?
