Singleton’s first at bat might rival it

Nah - good dude though. Has a hole in his swing the size of Yanier’s thigh but he can really field well and when he gets hot, he is pretty damn good…. I’ll always remember him for being the quietest guy on the Cubs the year they won the WS…. Said nothing entire World Series until game 7 rain delay and teammates were sulking- he called a meeting and lit into his teammates.

Only if I heard something and I haven’t heard anything about Pena except him open to an extension… I think he is just an up and down player and you hope he ends the season on an up.

If you took 5 of Big Jon’s strikeouts and made them home runs, we might not be doing this 1B carousel thing. (Sure it could still be a platoon)

I know that may sound like a big adjustment but how many middle middle balls has he just stared at?

It's not that complicated. To avoid the WC round the Astros need to be one of the top two division winners. Realistically that means catching the Central leader. At the moment that is Cleveland and we are 4 back with tie breaker and two H2H remaining.

2.5 has nothing to do with it - even for home field it doesn't matter because division winner gets home field. Please stop posting graphics and updates on this until you are sure you get it - people will get confused.

Exactly... better record isn't the only caveat -- being a division winner holds certain weight.

Not sure how it's 2 when it's a 3-game H2H series to end the season. if you mean 2 for the tie breaker, cool -- but being 4 games back with only ~30 games remaining, it's more likely the tie breaker won't matter anyway because the Astros will either need to sweep, or just simply win the series 2-1, thus finishing with the better record.

Pretty sure Buck's comment was tongue-in-cheek. Everybody knows you're an insider.

Yep, but I did it so you won't ever have to.

Altuve needs to get better? He's hitting .304 .373 .544 .916 over the last 2 weeks.

"Prevented using Hader for 3.5 innings"

    Abreu is "under a curse"

Should have signed Heyward earlier, and now "you can't call Chas up again"

""Was actually waiting if Hunter won't give it up that ump will go between innings to blackface Hunter with rosin and eject him for "rosin in the non pitching piehole"."

Can't lie.... Salvador kills us, but I've always liked him as a player. Great defense + above average offense from a catcher is a gold mine.

Salvador (Venezuela) and Yainer (D.R.) -- that part of the world births many good baseball players.

Perez probably gave Diaz some knowledge.... in Español.

Inserting automatic one liner trying to be cheeky boy with script to every topics every comment. I felt like doing this 2 days after Internet became a thing 30ish years ago. No insight or opinions just burps all around.

Oh, I've got opinions and insights. You may not want them, though.

    Talk to me though, friend.

Yes, you agree. Post his CS-rate too. He walked-off the Astros earlier this year. plus contributed in the Game 4 L in 2015.
Deflection. It's the typical disingenuous behavior you're accustomed to doing.

I know Im being just fearful and pessimistic but seems there is everynight little something something and umps know Joe pretty much never goes crazy and defends his players. I would not be able(as manager) restrain myself and not say to umpires I know what they are doing and trying and stop it.

    Damn that’s nuts!
If we only could stop making errors and could consistently move runners over
