I'm not sure. America is in a pretty good spot. The economy is doing good. Unemployment is low, stock markets up. Violent crime is decreasing. This is due to Bidens policies.
Yea right, the economy is only good numbers wise, the buying power of the dollar sucks, cost of living is very high for an average American and the salary didn't increase enough to match it. Shoot an average family needs at least 85-100k just to get by. If you needed $500 worth of groceries in 2020, now it'll run you about $750-800, if your rent was $800 in 2020, now its $1400, insurance and everything else went up enormously. Ya can bring that economy crap up all ya want, it ain't gonna fly.
Why is Trump scared to do a sit down press interview with his running mate JD Vance? Memo to media: Harris-Walz ticket isn't the first to do team interview
Why hasn’t Trump done a sit down interview with MSNBC or any liberal media outlets?? What are Trumps handlers hiding?
What's trump gonna do about this? This is the guy who predicted that the stock market would tank after he is gone. It didn't. He seems to not know how economy works.
already did https://www.foxnews.com/video/6358699262112 they also do interviews with hostile media constantly
He projects, that is his way of hiding or normalizing the awful things he does. He literally tells you what he is doing by accusing others of it......it is so transparent even right wing idiots should be able to see that....but alas..... Harris represents change from the old guard, no country for OLD MEN - elect Harris!!!! DD
Thank a illegal that it isn't 900 dollars of groceries. Our exploitation of them helps the average American.
Is it perfect, no, it's never perfect but inflation is coming down and I think the Feds will decrease interest rates next month and we should see prices coming down. Let's not think that prices don't go up on everything every year, that's just a fact and instead of a recession after Covid the economy is doing better and most importantly the supply chain is back on track. My company gets a lot of products from China and we had containers stuck at the port of Long Beach for months and we had to find ways of getting product to our customers and you know what happened, we had to drastically raise our prices to meet demand, in some instances up to 200%. My 401K did well with trump and Biden, actually better under Biden TBH. We put too much stock in what a President can do in terms of how much the price of eggs are and what Geico is charging you but there good political talking points to make a narrative for either side. At the end of the day with what Biden had to work with after trump he did great and for those of you thinking that trump will get you back to prices when he was president by the snap of his fingers are setting yourself up for failure especially if he puts tariffs on everything..........but I get it, nostalgia for past days will always resonate, hell I wish it were 1984 and I could buy a pack of smokes for $1.25 but this is reality. And lastly, I want a President who can control himself and not make us look like a laughingstock to the rest of the world, he is a buffoon
fyi, https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/price-gouging-in-the-headlines.324031/, one of the key drivers of the high cost has been price gouging Kroger's Senior Director for Pricing Andy Groff said the grocery giant had raised prices for eggs and milk beyond inflation levels.
Trump only needs to get on the phone and prices will be fixed the next day. Seriously, how can this be Trump's plan? Other things that can be fixed after one Trump phone call: Israel - Gaza sitch Russian Invasion of Ukraine Mexico paying for The Wall Immigration Legislation in Congress The Economy The Pending Civil War Trump's federal legal woes, if he wins How do we know the Power of a Trump Phone Call? Trump's first term? Let's ask Brad Raffensperger. Trump has no plans, but will let the Project 2025 people run free (if elected) ... since that is what all people are asking for ... big strong men ... with tears in their eyes.
Wage growth has outpaced inflation since February 2023. Inflation was a global problem, the US experienced it on a far lower scale than other countries and were proactive in putting in measures to fight it which worked. Globally the dollar is very strong compared to a lot of other currencies. Saying "this happened while x was in office so it must be their fault" is an incredibly reductive way to view things. I want y'all to actually point me to what Trump would have done in office to combat inflation, because all the policies he's been proposing such as super high tariffs, huge deportations, and exerting more political control over the fed would all skyrocket inflation even higher from my point of view. He has no policies that give me any faith that we wouldn't be in a much worse position now had he won in 2020, in fact I think some of his policies directly contributed to issues we faced in 2021 and 2022. Which makes sense because economic policy isn't usually immediate, it takes time to implement, another reason why it's dumb to just look solely at who is president when something happens rather than the policies being done in response and policies that led to it. Problems are always going to arise, it's how presidents respond to the problems. Just blanket blaming them for any problems that exist during their presidency is so reductive and drives me absolutely nuts. I'm happy to be proven wrong but to do so you need to tell me the what the magic wand Trump will wave that'll reduce inflation without crashing our economy is
