I'll allow it. I'm kinda over the Doobies, Steely Dan will always be good, the Eagles continue to suck
If you leave me now Stay the night Baby what a big surprise Hard to say I'm sorry You're the inspiration Will you still love me Saturday in the park Edit:
Two of the greatest songs of all times are from the 80s: Against All Odds - Phil Collins Don't Answer Me - Alan Parsons Project
I'm not totally sure you'd know a good song if it smacked you, or an older relative, right upside the head
Red Hot Chili Peppers aren't enjoyable to me. I dislike most of the lyrics. Keidis singing style is close to aggressive wining. Flea is a talented bassist but he creates parts that mostly demonstrate that a bassist can be as big of an ass hole show-off as a lead guitarist. I understand these are truly not popular opinions but it's how I feel. Also Counting Crows suck and the singer (who is supposedly a super nice guy) comes off as a whiney crybaby.
I blame Counting Crows for ushering in the nightmare of sensitive bro music of the likes of The Fray, Train, Jason Mraz and etc. That plagued music in the 2000’s.
