It really takes some balls to celebrate the ascension of Royce White to an important leadership position where his decisions will potentially impact all of our lives on a Houston Rockets basketball forum. I’ll give you that.

You really really have to be neck deep in the MAGA cult to be celebrating the fact that Royce fing White is in your cult with you. That’s one person I would never want in my foxhole but I guess to each his own.

I don't think it is live either. She should've tried that reporter that tore Trump a new one a few weeks ago.

The thing that Kamala and her team know is that cultist MAGA people are going to complain either way. If she does an interview, it won’t be with the right person etc etc. just as you are proving to us here.

She also knows the media cannot help but make themselves the story and are easily trolled by Trump. So she can’t just play defense on everything Trump will troll the media on. They are just too easy to manipulate.

Placating the pundits isn’t the goal of a presidential campaign. Do you know what is??… winning.

If the voters are connecting with your message through the modality that they are getting the message through then there’s no reason to change the modality to a format where that message can get chopped and get thrown off course with gotcha questions that aren’t relevant to the campaign or the American people.

Look… doing interviews might be good to expand her message, and I would argue they are especially with local news in swing states. However Dana Bash or Lester Holt or whomever in the MSM isn’t moving the needle for her in a positive direction either way with the voters and needs to win over. The voters she needs to win over probably don’t watch CNN or FoxNews. They are only reached in creative ways and the Harris campaign knows that.

And again they could give two craps about placating hyperpartisan Trump supporters who consume vast amounts of right wing propaganda because like you just showed even if she did an interview to you it would never be good enough because a voter like you will never in good faith consider voting for a Democrat. So why should anyone care about your opinion?

I’ll just restate here even clearer. Anyone who says “but Kamala Harris doesn’t do enough interviews” is probably consuming way too much right wing propaganda and that person is likely not your target voter.

The goal is to win by connecting with true swing voters. Not worrying about placating wayyy too online Trump trolls or self important media pundits who just can’t help but make themselves the story.

Royce White is a Republican, for now as he previously ran as a Democrat. He’s not going to be a Republican office holder though.

Many think she owes the public an interview. I was joking about using the lady that Trump used. I should've put an LOL after. That broad was savage. I appreciate your opinion.

Another one of "her plans" and how much she actually delivered:

Harris unveils plan for electric vehicle charging network

    Published 6:37 PM EDT, December 13, 2021

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration released an ambitious federal strategy Monday to build 500,000 charging stations for electric vehicles across the country and bring down the cost of electric cars with the goal of transforming the U.S. auto industry.

“The future of transportation in our nation and around the world is electric,’' Vice President Kamala Harris said at an EV charging facility in suburban Maryland.

The $1 trillion infrastructure law President Joe Biden signed last month authorizes a nationwide network of charging stations and sets aside $5 billion for states to build them, including $63 million for Maryland. The law also provides an additional $2.5 billion for local grants to support charging stations in rural areas and in disadvantaged communities.

Let's see how much they delivered, for $ 7.5 billion spent...

    Ouch.

    Why trust her now?

Most of my work right now is in multifamily housing (apartments) so I’m very interested in this plan. While funding is an issue there are any regulatory problems with building more higher density housing.

I’m not fully sold on just pumping more money to build help home buyers or to build more housing but as more details come out interested.

    I fully support this proposal.
Let California be the Beta test to see if it works.
If it works fantastic. If it does not, it's California so I don't care.

I do only support this if it is the state paying for this, and not the rest of the nation.

I would like to see how they came up with that figure. I know for a fact that there are funds out there to help build in charging stations. I have a couple of projects now where the client is tapping fund to put in charging stations.
    https://www.transportation.gov/brie...ailable-electric-vehicle-chargers-has-doubled
“Since the start of the Biden-Harris Administration, the number of publicly available EV chargers has doubled. Now, there are over 192,000 publicly available charging ports with approximately 1,000 new public chargers being added each week”

So you want a federal program tested in California and then only paid for by California?

    Politico is left-leaning.

I'm sure there is more detail, but in any case, rollout appears to have been slow.

Government is slow. That has always been true.

    And politicians overpromise and underdeliver.

    Big government = bad.
