He actually doesn't hit lefties. That number is a small sample fluke. As long as Tuck is out, expect him and Gamel to play RF and LF vs RHSP when Yordan isn't in LF. Choose between them in RF when he is. Vs LHSP that's when Dubon plays, and I'd like to see Whitcomb get reps in LF.
Sorry only say this after I posted mine. I think Chas is optioned ( or Dubon to IL) and one of guys I listed gets DFA'd.
They need Tucker to get healthy and Whitcomb to stick. Having to play guys like Heyward and Singleton sucks.
Some of his advanced stats say that he has had a lot of bad luck this season - so maybe not. He is really an ideal platoon guy but can play 1st and OF.
He was supposed to be the next star player, started off well enough and then for whatever reasons could not take it to the next level, and he couldn't even sustain the early successes he had at the plate.
...I liked the Belt idea 6 months ago (in April, I just looked) and was totally shot down by the bbs, so now here we are! Unless he just doesn't want to play, I don't get it.
