You do realize blue states are subsidizing red states with tax dollars right? Most every red state takes more money from the government than they contribute.

Yikes her memorization techniques must not be going to well. And people say Trump is trying to skip a debate because of the BFF relationship kamala has with a director there at ABC, yet she wants cheat sheets and to change the debate rules after being agreed upon.

The batting average of so-called conspiracy theorists is sadly pretty good when it comes to conspiracies about the wrongdoings of governments worldwide.

Still not following. How does what time you get up determine your political leanings or feelings on having free market?

If Obama was running? What social media podcasts did Obama go on? What podcasts did Trump go on in 2016? Joe Biden? They didn't - because the landscape and situation was different. Trump is going on podcasts that he selects because he believes it helps his chances to win the election...... but that is "different" than in the past. So yes - both Trump and Harris are "different" because they are responding to the situation in 2024.

Body language experts? You are really stretching this. There are numerous videos of multiple people behind Trump at his recent rallies yawning and in some cases falling asleep. Does that really mean much? Probably not. None of that changes the fact that thus far Harris' campaign has been far more vigorous and positive than the Trump campaign, for a lot of reasons - and that appeals to a lot of people. Plus this is the first Presidential campaign where the majority of decisions are being made by women. They are not "forcing" joy campaign slogans after 6 weeks - people are buying into it.

I don't know what the internals for the Democrats are saying - but your logic makes no sense. If they were that concerned about RFK Jr., they would have given him the cabinet spot he asked from Harris before he agreed to back Trump. The reason people are disparaging and talking about RFK Jr. is because he has done a lot of very bizarre and questionable things - from having a brain parasite, to using a chainsaw to cut a whale head off and strap it on the top of his car while whale blood and juice flied in his children's face on the interstate... to collecting a bear carcass and then dropping it in Central Park and setting it up so it looked like a biker hit the dead bear.... to groping his nanny, and then when asked if more will come out -saying "I don't know - I am not a choir boy" ..... to discussing numerous conspiracy theories and having a string of sad and bizarre personal relationships..... THAT is why RFK Jr. is being discussed so much, it isn't because internal polling has the Democrats scared. Maybe they should be scared - but the media attention and criticism that RFK Jr. has largely been brought on by himself and his own past.

Trump could end up 3 of the 5 toss up states - IDK, it is months until the election. I have said before that if I had to wager right now, I think that he wins ...... however the idea that the Democrats are not happy with the polling numbers right now just doesn't pass the sniff test. Another Republican candidate that was somewhat competent and likeable would be up 5% right now and be cruising to victory.

Trump will do fine at the debate. He is a very seasoned debater and expectations for him will not be high.

The debate isn't really about Trump though - everyone knows who and what he is, for good and bad.

The debate is about how Harris stands up and toes the line between defending herself from attacks while also not stooping to Trump's Jerry Springer level of sewage.

What you call socialism are the pillars of the American economy since the New Deal:

Social Security and Medicare are safety nets for the elderly and infirm.
Medicaid and welfare are safety nets for the poor and their children.
Medical spending props up to 20% of the economy and in theory is beneficial to the population overall health.
Agriculture subsidies keep food prices stable and farmers employed.
Military industrial complex is as much a jobs program as it is to keep our military 10+ years ahead of the rest of the world behind.

All of these demonized social welfare programs promote social stability and in their own ways improve the overall welfare of the US.

Libertarian style free capitalism just like communism has never worked in practice.
