Fall 90, they're good. Who else was from the fall of 90? RHCP? NIN? Jane's A? A lot of **** happened a bit after that.
Warrior soul first album is really good. it’s called last decade dead century. 2nd and 3rd albums were ok. Then the album in 1995 called space age playboys is strangely very good. After that it’s not that good imo.
I’ve never seen a concert at the summit However, what ever played there probably played at the Capital Center shortly before. 1988? Rush Hold your fire tour
They had the prospects to give up to get a Cahana, Winker type bat and chose not to make a move. Dana got lucky that Gamel became a available. You're right the loss of those picks hurt. But there's been plenty of talent to fill holes. So it didn't hurt that bad. In fact Manfred said he wished he would've imposed harsher penalties. Screw Manfred he got what he wanted out of the investigation, Luhnow blackballed.
Only 87%? No huge bull!!t bass (that absolutely existed), but if you had a nice crisp stereo system in the vehicle, then Rush was one of the best things to play on it. The Police were another one.
I was a bit of a metalhead back in the late 80's. Metallica, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, etc... Yet I also grew up with all of the rap music of the time, NWA, Public Enemy, etc... It was a pretty cool time to be a teen. Then the 90's happened, even better.
Don’t get me started. My thrash and metal phase came summer 1989. Maiden was my fave. Metallica, testament, priest, queensryche, slayer, savatage, fates warning, metal church, and many more.
I was starting to move to weirdness in1989 but did you listen to Watchtower or Angkor Wat? FNM and Godflesh were my go to
I still believe 2 first rounders makes a difference. If the Astros were good enough to possibly withstand it, then that's credit to the Astros. How many first rounders from '21 and '22 have been 1) traded for "better" players or 2) are currently producing for their big league team or 3) are anticipated to produce in the majors within a year or two? The domino effect is real. Maybe Dana anticipated a player like Gamel to become available. So, two lost draft picks... I'd rather have lost 3 and still have Luhnow. So the Astros were screwed not just either way, but both ways (picks and GM).
There was also a bunch of great techno, industrial type stuff. I remember 808 State, Ministry (of course), the Orb, and 31 one-hit random songs that played in every club every night at least twice every 3 hours.
I still think The Camera Eye is one of the greatest songs ever. I could go on all day bout RUSH. Seen them over 20 times.
